CHH 15" Black/Red Backgammon Set

I purchased this for home use, not a tournament player.The case is simple and sturdy. The clasp will likely be the first thing to go, but is adequate.There is no visible hinge, however it appears a hidden hinge structure runs all the way through the board.I like the lighter playing field, with darker playing points. Easier on the eyes.The dice cups seem well sewn together.Dice are "normal" size.Playing pieces are easy to handle, and sit well on the board.I also appreciate the set of rules, it's been a long time since I played.

Really is a nice set for the money. Would have been nicer if it had a handle to carry it around but it only gets used at home. My nine year old has picked up the game and ee play often.

I searched for a few days for a backgammon set & found this one. The quality is good and the set looks really nice. The only problem I have is there isn't a handle, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I have never seen a backgammon set without a handle so of course I didn't catch that in the picture. Lesson learned, never assume anything. Also, the delivery took longer than expected, 3 days instead of 2.

Overall, the set was what I expected as a set for my kids. Sadly, it came without the cups for throwing dice. I haven't yet checked to see if they were not included in the set or inadvertently left out.
