Intex Oval Frame Pool Set, 20-Feet-by-12-Feet-by-48-Inch

So far so good. There seems to be a little "drip" leak at the ends of the white pocket on one side. It isn't very bad, more of an annoyance. We are not going to take it down and have to put it up again now, we will live with it. Note the drip started the day it was filled and has not stopped so it isn't like the pool was old or anything, at least from our ownership of it.It was easy to assemble and fill but make sure you read through ALL of the instructions in detail before you get started, this will save time running back and forth to the store to get things if you need them depending on where you set it up or if you have things laying around you could use.

For the money this is a great pool. Follow all of the instructions and it is easy to set up. (All pools should be set up on level ground but it's really important on these soft pools.) I read reviews & learned about a sand & salt water system. It was $260 and it's soooo worth the money. So I can't coment on the pump. But it's a good pool even if you wait on the better filter. It's not supposed to last 10 years so if you're expecting some kind of permanent structure you are expecting too much in this price range. My guess is it will last 4 years. That's great for this price.

This is the third summer that we have had an Intex pool, so I am fairly familiar with the product and how to assemble them. I spend close to $300 preparing the ground for the pool. I followed the instructions exactly on how to assemble the pool. I spend literally two full days filling the pool with water. On Friday, when the pool was only half full, the side of the pool fell over, spilling out all of the water and damaging several tools that I had next to the pool area.I spent the entire day on Saturday re-preparing the area to try to build the pool again. I started filling the pool Saturday night. By Sunday morning, not only did the walls fail again, but a giant hole ripped in the side of the pool, ruining it. The force of the water was so strong, it actually carried our full garbage cans over 40 feet.Again, I have built this brand of pools before, and followed the assembly instructions exactly. I waited the entire day on the day of delivery to have this pool delivered by freight.Do not waste your time with this style of Intex pool. We think it failed because of the oval shape not being supported enough by only the small beams on the sides. We had to buy an entirely different style Intex pool, and because this one was the only size pool that would fit in the area that I prepared, I had to start from scratch re-preparing a different area for the new pool.Thank goodness we bought this pool directly from Amazon, so we were able to get our money back without have to hassle with Intex's horrible customer service, but we still had to go through the hassle of waiting for the freight company to come pick it back up.

Updated. Bought May 2016, it is now June 2020. Pool is pretty great. I leave it outdoors in the winter, Kansas City MO area, and have no problems. I did overfill the blowup part and punctured it somewhere last year, can't find the hole to fix it, but it still worked last year and appears to work for this year. All the dirt/leaves/etc seem to congregate on the ends which makes it easier to clean.Found out this year 2020, after emptying the water and storing it last year for 1st time, that a couple of nice made a home. Fixed the holes and it works great. Get a bigger pump! I'm never storing it again.

The sale was quick and shipping was fast, shipper was a bit off, but it worked. The pool is what I expected and setup, filled up without any problems. The ladder is cheep, the cover has seams that got missed when showing, the ground tarp is cheep, the pump works but seems to small for the pool. All in all, for the price it works. Its a pool, no leaks and it works! I would buy it again!

We are extremely happy with our pool. We are enjoying it every day and for the price it was well worth it! Myself (Mom) my two sons and my daughter had it all set up & ready to go in about 4 hrs. My husband loves it as well - he works around the yard and then jumps in to cool off and gets back to working in the yard. We've had it up about a month and it is so easy to maintain. We live on the coast and would rather swim in the comfort of our backyard then drive the 15 minutes to the beach!!

Was really excited to receive the pool boxes. The boxes were taped well and secure and in good condition. After laying the ground cloth down my husband wheeled the box with the pool over and we placed it in the center. Unfolded and followed the easy to read directions. Everything was fantastic and easy until we started filling the pool. The pool had two leaks, both in the seams on the rounded corners of the pool. Two trips to the store for patching supplies (there is a small repair kit in the box but it would not work on the folds of the seams and the glue required isn't included) later everything seems to be fine. I just didn't expect to spend hundreds of dollars on a pool that was defective in two separate areas. If it wasn't so much of a pain in the neck to drain in, pack it up, and resend it I would return it!

The pool is great, kids are really enjoying it. The shipping on the other hand was horrible. It was delivered when they said but the box was destroyed. There was no packaging left and it looked like someone had driven a forklift straight into the side of the part of the box we had left. Then all the pieces were shrink wrapped together with nothing to protect them from getting broken. Lucky, for us none of the parts were broken. Next time, I will order from VM Innovations as I have received other packages from in great shape.
