Possibly the Best Invention Ever Created
I am honestly stunned at how great this thing is. I am in no way affiliated with Intex, just a guy who, like a trillion others, bought a pool during quarantine. I have literally never owned or cared for a pool in my life. Alas, as they say, "happy wofe, happy life." I wasnt sure how I would vacuum the pool and some of them were outrageously expensive (a floor cleaning robot? What??) I stumbled upon this little combo which included the skimmer, also a must have for pool care. I am not even kidding, I enjoy vacuuming the pool with this thing. I dont know what kind of crazy magic it does, but basically you hook a little net to the vacuum head and attach your garden hose to it. The hose blasts water back into the net along with dirt, leaves, whatever. They stay in the net, and I am happy. A bonus that I didnt see mentioned is that your hose puts back some of the water you lose to splash out, evaporation, etc. Sweet! The pole is sturdy, the thing just works. All in all the vacuum alone is worth the price, let alone the fact it comes with a skimmer too!! This thing is great!!

Great buy!
I was skeptical about buying this based on the reviews on some people saying that it wasn't worth it. In my opinion after I bought it I was really delighted to see how well it worked and I believe it was of good value. This really is not a product for a large pool such as an inground pool but for a small aboveground pool this works perfectly. Fits well on the hose, sucks up debris very well and easy to clean and put away. I recommend this for those looking to clean their above ground pool on a regular basis. I think it works best when you use it regularly, to pick up small debris and with slow motions over the pool bottom. It can suck up leaves but I pick those up in other ways. I started off by going to the pool store and the pool guy recommended I buy an attachment, hose and a different vacuum... which did not work because my pump was not strong enough. Waste of money... so I ended up with this product, cheaper, connects to the hose and works well on our Intex above ground pool. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great vacuum
This vacuum works great! It works even better than the one that came with my pool. That one I had broke so I had to find another. I tried one other one that went through the filter, but it kept falling apart. This one never looses suction and unless you have a great amount of debris in your pool you don't have to clean the bag out but maybe once. It will pick up leaves and pine needles as well as anything else that size or smaller. I was worried that it would add allot of cold water to the pool and lower the temperature, but it doesn't. My well is over 300 feet deep and the water comes out ice cold, but no problem. It is super easy to put together and use. Then only problem I had was the bag staying on sometimes. So I solved that by putting a heavy rubber band over the tube that you tie the bag onto and then slipping it over the bag. One person complained that it broke when you scrubbed the bottom of the pool, but my response to that is, like any vacuum it's not meant for scrubbing. The bristles on the bottom are there to pull items up into the vacuum. I have had it a couple of month now and used it several time without any problems. I agonized over which vacuum to get. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this, especially for the price.

Basic pool kit
The intex equipment has its own standard sizing, which means this pole will not work with anything requiring a โstandard telescopicโ pole. Beyond that, you need basic upkeep equipment to maintain a pool and the skimmer and pole get the job done. The pole lost its tightening ability after the first couple of weeks. The vacuum works with your hose and will do a good enough job until you can upgrade it. It is cheap, small, and time consuming but gets the job done if thatโs all you have. I keep it for backup because you never know when your upgrades will fail. I do use the skimmer head frequently and it stays in the elements and is still in great shape. In short, purchase if you need backup equipment, but this isnโt the best solution for long term pool maintenance.

Ahhh, where to start :)
Update: 7-2-14 Hey all, I finally figured out how to add pictures of my invention to Amazon so everybody can see for them selves. I do hope this helps you with your cleaner and gives you many clean pool days. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Now on to your regularly scheduled review : ) I know that sometimes you can't expect to much for $ 20 bucks but I thought I would give some tips and understanding on this kit anyway. First the pole. It is telescopic and made for a smaller pool but seems to be very well made and does not bend when using. Next was the net. At first I thought that is was not to my liking as it is a flat net with no give in the middle to catch things. But after using it a couple of times I decided that this was even better. It does a great job of catching the bugs and dog hair. And when you empty it you don't have to fiddle with the blinging net to get the stuff out. Just turn it over and bounce the pole over your hand and the stuff just falls off. Now on to the vacuum head assembly. The head itself is very well made and will last for years if treated right. It has a nozzle that points 90 degrees towards the net that blasts water through the net and creates a very noticeable vacuum from the bottom picking up most anything in it's way. it also has a small brush and two wheels to help with the cleaning. And if I was living somewhere where the only thing I needed to vacuum was a few bugs and leafs then that would be it. But, even when I lived in WA I still got fine dust in my pool floor. And now I live in AZ where fine dust is a way of life, this net does not work at all. So being the creative guy I am I thought, well I will just build me a better catching bag. I had a few extra Micro fiber towels and decided to sew one up in the same configuration as the net and see what I got. Well after a good cleaning it seemed I had success. But alas it was not to be. after about an hour I looked to see, and all that fine dust was on the bottom of the pool again. Back to the drawing board. So after a couple of other design flaws I came up with the perfect match. As a old Fish tank guy I remembered using fine flax for the tank filters and thought hey, this might work. So I found one of my old pillows and cut some of the fill out and put it in my new micro fiber towel net and used an old tube 2" long the same size as the output of the vacuum head and stuffed it in the forward center of the bag so the water would have to travel up the bag before getting into the filter media and vacuumed away. After 2 hours my pool was still perfect with no dust left over. I then put a little clip on the pole to hold the bag still. It's kinda funny, it looks like a old Kirby vacuum bag when it's doing its job. So now I have a great pool vacuum and enough filter media to last me through the summer. And if I need more I just go and buy a cheap $ 6 buck pillow and I'm good for another year. Life is great : )

Works well with 10' Intex above-ground pool and other water sanitation efforts
The length of the pole works well to reach anywhere in a 10' Intex above-ground circular pool. The pole bends a bit if you move it too fast so being mindful of the force you use is recommended, not a problem so far though. The screen is tight enough to pick up most or maybe all visible items. The vacuum works well and is needed because the pole and screen method does not pull up items from the floor. Worked well after a lot of rain caused tree debris to get into the pool. I have had it for about 10 days and have used the vacuum once and screen each of the approx 5 days of use in that period. I would buy this again and feel the cost ($33ish) is a good value. I also have a 1000 GPH intext filter pump that works quite well. And added a mineral (copper and something else) stick inside the filter to combat germs electrostatically, and use Shock weekly and a chlorine tablet in float container. I check the the free Chlorine, pH and Alkalinity each day of use and so far have maintained a good balance. I added some baking soda to increase alkalinity. After having the pool for a month, and seeing the water flow had basically stopped, I recently replaced the pool filter for the first time; it had green algae on parts of it and some debris. Best of luck, hope this helps.

For small pools
This is perfect for small inflatable pools or hot tubs .. The vacuum worked ok..and the skimmer and other attachments came on and off easily. The length adjustment was nice. And skimmer did its job. For the price. It was a great deal. I have small 4โ round inflatable pool and this was perfect for it.

Decisamente efficace.
Non avendo una pompa filtro con ricircolo ho dovuto optare per questa soluzione che immette acqua nella piscina ma ha un grande potere aspirante. Ovviamente adatto a piscine di piccole dimensioni.

Cleanest pool on the block!
we are so happy with this purchase! It works so easy and quick, it picks up the dirt from the ground of the pool so easy and doesnโt miss one piece! Before we had that it would literally take at least an hour or more to stir up the dirt and get it with a regular skimmer. Anyone having a pool would be crazy not to make this purchase. It is easy to set up, use and store definitely five stars on this.๐๐ผ
