Crap in the eye, fiber, wood, bug, metal can be safely removed by a helping person with this tool. Or you can go to the $doctor.

It comes with debris all over the tip because the storage tube is made from a magnetic grade of stainless steel. There are non magnetic grades such as 301, 304, 302HQ, 303, 310, 316, 321 and 253MA that would have been the right choice to machine it from. The tip debris can be pushed down the shank before use, but it is impossible to get off, and once it is screwed back into it's holder, even more metal particles are picked up. I will not send it back, I will just quickly push the particles away to the bottom.
