I like this whole CD some songs I know.And some I don't but they're all good

My dad still bys cds and this one arrived earlier than expected, was in perfect condition and cd does not display scratches or distortion in audio

I like this album. Being a longtime lover of Steve's vocal work. The only problem I can tell is it doesn't seem to be recorded well. It sounds clear but a bit echoey. Like it was recorded in a hard surfaced room on some of the tracks. Journeys last album with him was similarly sounding.

Well, unsurprisingly, it's brilliant. Frustrating and hence hard to listen to but brilliant. Alone out of everyone on the planet, I get the feeling Perry's voice in the end brought him no joy at all. He seems to find some satisfaction in the joy it brings others, but singing itself appears to have been just a miserable experience for him, which makes listening to this bittersweet to say the least; it's most enjoyable to watch people who share their miracles with joy, not pain. It's hard to watch someone bleed on stage; this makes his earlier work a lot easier to enjoy when doing so doesn't feel like schadenfreude.It's a marvelous CD, worth ten stars much less five, but for such a miraculous voice to have generated only two collections of solo work in its lifetime and spent the rest of its career releasing retreads and the very occasional ancient demo is an appalling loss. I know I've used the word twice so far, but I don't use it lightly: along with Titta Ruffo and Marian Anderson, Perry's voice truly was one of the 20th century's three miracles, and it's an absolute tragedy that it was placed in the throat of a man who could apparently only be happy when not performing.Nevertheless, it is worth buying, even simply for the very old, surprisingly wonderful unreleased work; this is one of the greats, after all. But it's not an unalloyed joy, by any means.

I love Steve Perry. Great CD. Great seller. Will be back. Listen to this CD all of the time!!!
