LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly Replacement with Tools for Samsung Galaxy S6 G920 G920A G920i G9200(White)

The digitizer adheres to internal piece well. But when you go to reassemble the phone, there are wide gaps where the adhesive once was around the outer edge of the phone. So you need to apply some sort of thick glue like adhesive in order to "waterproof" the device. If it were to get dropped in a puddle or get rained on it would be finished as of right now. Its a good quality screen though and has the Samsung logo just like the original screen. I was disappointed when I turned on my phone to see it had factory reset, I assume due to too many wrong codes entered. Apparently the touch screen still worked despite the old screen going completely dark. Kind of an expensive way to find out my phone had reset. I had soooo many photos that I was hoping to recover, so I was pretty depressed initially but the phone should last for many years once I get it properly the proper adhesive to "waterproof" the device.

I installed the new screen-digitizer combo with a little assistance from youtube. The screen works perfectly, and it looks like I have a new phone! It is true that you could just buy a new S6 for about $200, but to me that option wasn't worth it because I would have had to set up my phone all over again - and my set up is very complicated (for security reasons). Plus throwing away any digital device just because the screen is broken is such a waste, and bad for the environment. I am glad that I was able to find this part online, which wasn't available a year and a half ago when I first looked. Only thing I'm mildly pissed about is that I forgot to save the speaker grille from my old screen and now my new phone has a gaping hole where the earpiece speaker grille should be - so fyi to everyone - don't forget to put that piece on before putting the phone back in the midframe.

i bought this screen myself to save on costs for my phone because going through the professional company would have charged me more to get the screen and installation. He installed it but the screen was dead. He showed me it was before asking if i wanted him to remove it and pay for one from them which i agreed. he was super careful on removing it. about to send it back after talking with amazon care. I'm disappointed i ended up paying around 300 to fix my phone in total thanks to buying this screen

It works well so far. However, the tools included in the package are not helpful. The case opener is way too thick for Samsung S6 G920A. I used hair dryer instead of heating gun.

I didn't repair it myself, but I am thinking I will try on my back up one, based on the reviews.Yes I have two. Don't ask, lol. I don't want to have to load all my crap on a new one either.

The thing came with a battery and a new charging port ... it made my job so easy to fix it ... you dont even need tape to fix the lcd ....
