E LV Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Case Holster Dual Layer Armor Defender Protective Case Cover with Kickstand and Belt Swivel Clip for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus case - Black

I was looking for a case comparable to an Otterbox Defender, and this one certainly fits the description! I'm using this E LV case to protect my Galaxy S6 Edge+ which I'm using solely as a camera. So I am not using the Galaxy as a personal phone, wearing the holster all day every day. Instead I just wanted a case that would provide excellent protection from the occasional drop, and I wanted a holster that would snap on to protect the screen while it's bouncing around with other objects inside a briefcase.Time will tell, but initially the E LV seems designed to offer superior protection. The rubber outer cover is very stout! Comparing it side by side with an Otterbox Defender (on my Galaxy S4) it's hard to see any shortcomings on the E LV. And the cool "locking kickstand" feature on the holster clip is something the S4's Otterbox lacks. Also the molded plastic of this holster is thick and strong. No worries about its plastic latch getting fatigued and breaking from normal use.One reviewer complained that the case obscures the curved edge of the Galaxy's screen. Holding it in my hand just now I don't understand the complaint. The glass edge can be seen up until it's turned to a severe angle, and any less height on the case edge would expose the screen to damage much more significantly. IMHO the case edge is just right.Good work, E LV!

This is a pretty good phone case. It's got a good feel to it, reasonable protection especially considering the price.The pros: Decent protection, price, fit is good, feel is goodThe cons: I could do with a different flap design for the USB input and audio jack. It's a little excessive, but not a deal breaker.The Unsure/Weird: I really am not sure how I feel about the kickstand. On one hand it's better than your traditional "flap" kickstand, this one is a touch circular ring that's a little hard to fish out, it also rotates. So what's weird about it is if you just flip it out (with the ring parallel to the ground/base and perpendicular to the phone itself) it won't support the phone's weight. It tips over and falls. So you've got to rotate the thing to a peculiar angle to properly support the phone. That said it's not bad, just a little weird. Additionally the ring shape makes supporting the phone off random hooks really easy (ex: say you're watching a car repair video on the phone, the ring kickstand would allow you to hang it off something). This is oddly useful to me. How that translates to you? No idea.

It's taken me a bit to get used to this case. At first the new rubber was a little weird and it was attracting any hair / dust / crap that it could. I figured I'd get a new case but in the mean time I've just stuck with it. It's kind of grown on me and I like it a lot. There are a couple things though. First.. the hard plastic where the charging port is needs to be adjusted in the mold. An 1/16th of an inch clearance on both the top and the right side would be a good move as it gets in the way. Also the big rubber door that covers the charging port.. I wouldn't mind seeing that be hard plastic to where it 'clicked' shut.All in all I'm happy with it and it's def worth the money.

I love the design of the case, it fits perfectly but the toxic smell is strong it hurts my lungs. I separated the case pieces & sat them outside to see if it would help with the out-gassing. The case has been outside for 10hrs & the smell is just as strong as when I opened the package. If in 48hrs the smell has not faded, I'll have to return it.UPDATE - After leaving the product outside in the sun for 3 days, the smell went away. I recommend if purchasing to sit outside if it is shipped in sealed plastic wrap. Thoroughly was your hands after handling & wash the case as well. Despite the initial smell, this really is a great durable product.

I bought this for my husband when I updated his phone. This case fits the Samsung S6 Edge+ very well. Easy to put it on the phone and provides ample protection and he likes the ring kickstand. It is not a one-hand removal from the belt case and it's necessary to be sure it snaps into the belt case tightly to prevent the phone from falling out. But overall, it is a good product.

This is my second order. The first one I purchased stood up to about 1.5 years of constant abuse and protected my phone well. Belt clip is excellent and I often pulled phone off with one hand to change stations while riding my bike almost daily to work. Rubber outer case eventually stretches and becomes loose, which makes it hard to pop out of belt clip. I eventually broke the belt clip release button when I pushed very hard to release it.Because of the ease of use and low price, I highly recommend this case/belt clip!

I love this case.. It is impossible to find an outer box case to fit a galaxy s6+edge made like this. I was hesitant in buying because i have ways used outerbox, they stand up to the abuse my case goes through and keeps my phone safe.. I can certainly say this case gives outer box a run for there money. I have had no problems with how it protects my phone.. many drops and really stands up. Also the fact I can place the phone in the holster screen facing out.. that is another thing that is hard to find. Recommend this to anyone looking for a good case.

The phone fits inside the case snugly and gives me peace of mind if I do drop the phone. The case also makes it much easier to hold the phone when talking - without it, the S6 felt like it was always about to slip through my fingers. Make sure you don't try and force the phone into the case - it comes apart completely so you can set the phone in the cradle, then snap on the top trim piece (no directions included and my wife suggested cramming it through the top trim piece - wrong).
