Product Description The CASTOR is a premium 6 button multi-color optical right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse. The unique shape has been developed to be used by right-handed gamers, and to equally support palm, claw and fingertip-grip. The mouse has a dedicated pinky- and ring-finger support-groove which makes it most comfortable to hold and lift. The PMW-3310 gaming grade optical sensor has no positive or negative hardware acceleration, amazing accuracy, smooth tracking, and a maximum speed of more than 5.45m/sec (215 IPS) all the way up to 10000DPI. It is the choice of the world's top pro-gamers and widely considered as the best gaming sensor currently available. The new lift-off distance (LOD) Calibration feature combines the Surface Quality Analyzer Tool (S.Q.A.T ) with adjustment of the lift off height to find the lowest possible LOD with optimized tracking. The lightning fast 32bit ARM processor enables the mouse to have numerous gaming features without compromising on the tracking of the sensor. The downloadable software provides access to fully customize all buttons, sensor settings, LED colors, macros and profiles. Set Contains: Mionix Naos QGMionix logo stickerQuick installation guide

Not reliable.
Middle mouse click button stopped working 3 years in. I've had cheapo microsoft mice last longer than this over priced !@#$.

lower quality that my naos 7000
Bought this to replace my 3 yr old naos 7000, middle mouse button broke.Switches are less crisp, slightly spongy and soft compared to my old naos 7000, there's a casting defect in the plastic, the heart rate monitor isn't accurate, it swings wildly between 40-90 bpm, green light flashes in your eyes when you take your hand off the mouse, leaving dots in my vision (seriously who the hell thought this was a good idea??)Probably going to return it. Very disappointing, this is the 4th Mionix mouse I've had, first 2 lasted less than a year and were replaced under warranty, I keep buying them because of the comfortable shape and the quality sensors but I'm sick of the quality control issues.

Comfortable and well-performing mouse that will fail just outside of warranty
This is the second Mionix mouse I've owned, the first being a Castor. And will probably be the last. Both have failed within a few months of coming out of the 2 year warranty due to switch issues. Both would send double-clicks indicating failing switches. For that I have to knock off points for an otherwise comfortable and well-performing mouse. A shame, seems like they have built-in shelf-life which just creates needless e-waste.Another design flaw is that the mouse wheel gets easily clogged-up over time and needs the mouse to be taken apart to clean up. Trivial task, but one that requires new skates every time as the screws are underneath. Finally, the bio-sensors (which I do not use) have caved-in. They are pretty thin slices of metal pressed into the shell, and 2 years of use have cause the metal to cave-in leaving a hole in the top. Doesn't affect the primary function of being a computer mouse though.Again, when it works, very comfortable and well-performing mouse, but with the poor reliability and non-existent repair-ability one comes to expect in these high-consumer profit-driven days. I yearn for the days where a mouse can be taken apart without replacement skates, and switches can be replaced without a soldering iron.

unreliable
this broke within a few months, I returned it to amazon for a full refund. Mionix seems to be dead as a company, a shame as I love their design. The last few mice from them haven't lasted, and they've fallen behind other manufacturers, especially having no wireless options.

Very long, very slippery
Ordered to replace my xornet, unfortunately didn't realise it is about half a length longer! Could not reach one of the thumb buttons. Returned. Also the material is so smooth, while it feels nice, the fingers kept slipping, not for fine fast maneuvers.

Best mouse in the world?
I write, I edit photographs, I make videos, I record music, do a bit of gaming, and the mouse is excellent.
