Surprise Cake Popping Stand, Gift Cake Holder - 10 inch

This item is overpriced and terrible quality, I highly do not recommend!!The surprise pod didn’t sit flush with the centre of the stand meaning I had to bake more cake to cover the huge mound created in the centre...not ideal for a “surprise”! Also my item did not arrive as described or as advertised in the pictures which I am really disappointed about, my stand arrived without an 8” base and is advertised to cove with both an 8” and 10”, therefore this product is not what I purchased! In order to cut the perfect sized hole in your cake you are meant to have to be provided with a tool to cut and remove the cake (a tube which is the correct size for the cake stand centre), this is not included!I’m so disappointed with the overall quality of this product, I purchased it as a Prime product as I expected that it would meet amazons usual high standard but was beyond disappointed with what arrived. If I could give less than 1 star I would!

When it was delivered it worked easily, all you have to do is pull the tab and it pops up. On the day, when it came to show time put a little bit of cake on top to hide the surprise but the part where you pull came apart and cut the birthday boy's finger and the device was jammed. If you choose to buy this don't put anything on top and it should work.

Cake base warped & after several trial runs, once the cake was on top it didn't pop up- prying it open with a knife obviously didn't have the desired effect. Cheap flimsy base. Absolutely gutted.

Cake stand is great but the surprise didn’t pop up because we put butter cream over the top of the cake even though the instructions said this would be fine.

Thought this would be great for my daughter 30th birthday xx looked impressive but really disappointed that it didn’t work and trigger broke when we tried to get it to work 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
