I recently purchased two of the Twister RC cars and they arrived very quickly and were packaged very well. (I kept the packaging for storage.) I was concerned at first that they wouldn't operate at the same time because there wasn't frequency's listed on the cars but because they are 2.4ghz they pair directly to the car so they do operate at the same time. So that was great. Also I was concerned they wouldn't be fast enough because my oldest who is 7 wanted a fast car. They are pretty fast on pavement and do really well in the short grass. (2") the do fine in taller grass (4-6") but they are a bit slower which is expected. They do hill climb pretty steep dirt hills (60% grade) pretty well. They are fast enough to be a lot of fun for even adults but just slow enough that they are easily controllable by a 7 and 5 year olds.The one thing that isn't great about these cars is there isn't away to adjust the alignment so when operating on a pavement surface trying to race straight they do drift to one side. This is due to the steering gear that also allows the cars to move from flat to raised. However this isn't really a problem for my kids as they just have to steer left or right to compensate. This steering gear system also has a great advantage over other cars in that the turning radius is very tight. They can fully turn around on a standard side walk and if you keep turning you can do tight donuts because the front and rear wheels turn or flex at the same time to make this a very agile off road stunt car.The 4 wheel drive is a true 4 wheel drive and can climb over obstacles very well. My kids like to climb up the bottom step and have the cars just flip over and over and over again. Their friend's cars can't do that. They also out maneuver in tall grass and dirt better than other cars because of the true 4 wheel drive. I was concerned that a 4x4 car battery wouldn't last very long because of the extra power requirement but it seems to last about 20 to 30 minutes of continued use, which i was pretty impressed with.Overall, I would highly recommend these cars to anyone looking for a easily controlled, well built, agile RC car.Oh and they also include a screw driver and extra screws for the battery slot on the car and controller. That was a nice touch because right away I dropped one of the screws for the battery slot on the controller and lost it.

The media could not be loaded.  The car came quickly once ordered. The instructions said to charge the battery pack for three hours, which we did. The car was easy to drive and highly maneuverable and it was quite cool when it changed from a flat racer to an upright car-like one. However, the battery did not last long. We attempted an overnight charge of the pack which netted us a slightly longer run time, but it was still pretty short vis-a-vis the charge time. If the battery pack lasted longer, we would have awarded more than three stars.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall this is a pretty fun little stunt jumper. The handling is terrible and the transformation is kinda gimmicky, but it seems sturdy has a good amount of power (both battery and horsepower) and it is fun for ripping around the yard and crashing into stuff in the house.The transform feature was fun to be able to have two different performance "modes", but not particularly useful when driving it around because you'd still have to manually flip it over if it got flipped upside down.The controller is pretty much hot garbage. All of the functions are simply on or off, throttling and turning are both jittery and don't allow for any finnese. There are also fake buttons (triggers maybe?) on the controller that don't do anything at all. Not a chance I could replicate the stunts in the product video without just setting it up like that over and over again until I got the shot.The battery is just decent. While it takes a long time to charge, you do get a good amount of run time out of it. It's also a good thing that the battery lasts a while, because while I like how secure the battery cover is it is sort of a pain to take off and put back on. It's also good that the battery is removable and replaceable as I imagine it will eventually wear out over time.Verdict: If you want to drive it in a pretty much straight line off of jumps and things, watch it tumble and keep driving this is a good way to spend less than $30. If you want more fine control for spins, stunts, tricks and things look elsewhere.

This is a great toy!I would highly reccomend it to anyone interested!There are many things that I love about this remote controlled car:1. Extremely easy and quick to put together. (the instructions are so clear and straight to the point.)2. It comes with everything that you need; a recharagable battery pack for the car, a charger for when those batteries die, extra screws + a tiny screwdriver. (You do need your own AA batterys for the controller, however. Thats very standard for toys.)3. This car is really fun! And, it is very easy to control.4. It has great mobility! It worked amazingly- even on my gravel driveway *as pictured*. It also can easy drive up little hills and through the grass with relative ease.5. The cars' batteries come pre-charged so you don't have to wait to play!(please note you do have to charge the battery completely before use, so once the batteries die *despite having a really long battery life* be sure to charge them for all 2-3 hours it takes.)I can see this being a great toy for kids and even adults! It would make a great birthday or holiday/christmas present for kiddos.I love it and would highly reccomend it to anyone looking!I've had 5 kids so I have purchased many remote controlled cars/toys in my time and this one is the easiest and most fun my kids and I have tried!
