Works great
My last window AC was the same brand and worked great for 8 years. Pros - no operation issues . It says it only goes down to 64 degrees but I fell asleep with it on and awoke to it reading 46 degrees I should have take a picture. It cools the bedroom very nicely. I have emptied the water catch twice and the most I got on a hot day was about 20 ounces if that well under the capacity. That was after a week of use. It's been a few months now no problems.Nothing is perfect though...Cons it doesn't switch to fan when the desired temperature is reached thus lowering electrical usage. The tube for the window was short and I had to get a additional one that although I got it to fit several tabs on the new one snapped .There isn't a screen on the exaughst to keep bugs out.It is a bit heavy but it's built well and functions so it is a given it will weigh more than cheap built versions.I highly recommend it for anyone.HOA compliant , window mounted is not . Check with your HOA for the requirements for your area. If window ac is ok get that in the same brand that does have auto switch to fan mode when temperature is achieved.

Far Superior to Other Portable Air Conditioners
This is my 3rd new portable air conditioner in as many weeks, all 14,000 BTU Ashre except this one, Haier 13,500 BTU Ashre. Commercial Cool from Home Depot has no power in the fan and did not cool satisfactorily. Ocean Breeze from Ocean State Job lot, a little more power but did not cool satisfactorily and leaked. This Haier cooled as it should with a strong fan in an uninsulated room with vaulted ceiling on a day where the heat index was 100 degrees. I expected it to have a problem but it did not. My only regret is that I could not find a 4 in 1 Haier with heat too. I also have 2 old Haiers which is why I spent the extra on this one.

Save your money
Arrived on Tuesday and stopped working by Friday. It initially was amazing. Very loud, but it cooled my studio apartment and helped me deal with the current heatwave. However, I had to go into the office on Friday {I work for a nonprofit that is an essential service) and upon my return, I attempted to turn it on. It turned on but was no longer blowing cold air.Major disappointment from Haier. I will be getting a new portable air conditioner but from a different brand. Definitely.Edit:Just an update: the company was very accommodating regarding my return. I haven't received my money back yet, but they were really helpful and agreed to have FedEx pick it up from my apartment because I would not have any way to take it to a FedEx or UPS store. I appreciate the customer service.I did end up replacing with a window unit that is only 5k BTU. That unit has worked so much better and actually keeps my apartment at a comfortable temperature without needing to run it 24/7.

Works Great
Works great , it cools the room quick , but the lowest Temp is 64°F and it can be a bit loud . The remote control works fine & you can connect it too Google Home once you pair it through the GE Appliances Smart HQ app

So far it's working amazing. I am only 2 days in....
Okay so hooked it up 2 days ago so far so good. Just so people are aware this thing is HEAVY. The hose is HUGE. No complaints however be aware when attaching the hose it came off from it's components fairly easy. I threw some duct tape on each end to stop that from happening. I will say I kinda wish I had read a bit more. I really did not want to hassle with a unit that I would need to drain but it's here now and I am getting cooled off so oh well. I love the swing feature. One last thing the mode for dry seems to be cooler then the mode for cool.

Good unit for small/medium spaces
The media could not be loaded. Like this unit a lot. Cools 2 small rooms okay. Cools one really well and the second okay. It’s about the same noise level as other portable ACs we’ve used. Easy to install. Remote is nice with a display on it. The vent opens to different widths/angles to direct the air a certain way. Gets cold fast and stays cold. Haven’t had to empty the water at all yet. It’s also smaller than most portable ACs we’ve used. Obviously the exhaust vent hose takes up space, but that’s all to be expected with any portable AC unit. Also really love the locking mechanism on the window cover extenders. So much better/more stable than the screws in previous ones we’ve owned.Updated to add photos/video of the unit.

It does it's job just fine
I bought this model because i had an older portable AC unit from the same company for 9 years before it went out. This has 11.500 BTU, and I use it in a 450- 500 ft living/kitchen area. It's sleek looking, i enjoy the remote, and controls on top of the unit. I leave doors to bedrooms open so although those rooms don't get cold by any means, they stay cooler. I ask a lot of this unit, I know it may not last as long in doing so, but it's what i could afford at the time. I bought an insulation tube called a Kool-Aide (40$) for the hose, it's awesome!!! I will update this review if ever needed.

[stopped blowing cold air] Very loud + Not cold enough + Short Exhaust Hose
If you have an older apartment/condo with a small window that can only be opened on top, the hose is very short. We had to use a dining chair so we didn't have to purchase another hose... It is very loud (but I don't mind cause it helps me fall asleep). Not very cold but it works!UPDATE: This is our 2nd summer using this, but it totally stopped blowing cold air! It’s very annoying! (Is there a warranty on this?)

Late in Arriving
This air conditioner has been a pleasant surprise - both in power and noise level. It is very quiet compared to others and does cool down a large room very quickly. Our only concern was the shipping time involved in this case. We are in Vancouver, BC and had no idea it was coming from Georgia. That may have explained why tracking was indicating it would arrive one week before it did. The package was partially open on arrival but the conditioner was all intact. In the end, this is a very good product.
