The media could not be loaded. I will be the first to admit that I don't know a lot about omnidirectional or other definitions of microphones. But, I do recognize quality. I do quite a bit of recording at my desk, where I discuss the different things that I found helpful, when dealing with quadcopters and drones. I, like many others like to share my experience and ideas. One of the things that's VERY important, when doing informative or instructive videos is to have good quality sound. I have a great laptop. But, the camera and microphone kind of have their limitations. So, I use a camcorder and a desk mic. This RALENO is an excellent mic. The mic itself is extremely well built. The body is very solid, heavy and durable. The screen guard is SUPER heavy duty woven wire that won't be crunched, compressed or damaged very easily. (I think you'd have to beat it with a hammer to damage it.) The volume control on the top of the mic is very handy, allowing you to tweak the input without going to your computer. The USB connections are NOT typical, and much better than most USB connections for USB microphones. The connection at the mic is a mini-USB, like used for most printers and other durable peripherals. Not a micro, mini or C like many lower quality models. The cable itself is heavy duty with a degaussing magnet inline, to prevent electronic noise in the recording. The mic stand is light weight, composition material with rubber nonskid feet and a tension clamp for best positioning. The mic is definitely directional, as you can see in my video. This is a good thing. As, the sound field is narrow enough to pick up what's directly in front and nothing else. Most background noise will NOT come through in your recordings. I'm very pleased with this mic and happy to give it five stars.

The microphone is pretty solid and works as you'd expect it. In the box, you get the mic itself along with a tripod sort of stand to keep it on. It screws in with no problem. The lowest height is probably like 6 inches approximately. It has a cable (one end is like the printer cable) and the other end is a USB-A that you connect to your computer for.The mic has a volume knob on the top to control how loud you want the amplification to be. I tested this on the lowest setting followed by the highest. There isn't as big of a difference as you might expect, but the volume is loud enough.For my purposes, I use it for work calls so it sits between my monitors about 1-1.5 ft away from me usually. No one has complained about my voice not being clear and from the recordings I've done, it sounds good. I wouldn't say this is anywhere near studio quality, but it would probably work if you're just doing live streaming on YouTube or IG.I have audio that plays from my monitor, and my biggest concern was that the mic would pick that feedback up. To my surprise, it doesn't do that at all, which is pretty great. It does a good job isolating my voice and focusing on that. It does catch me typing on keyboards though (which, to be fair, is pretty loud).Overall, it's a simple plug and play and is definitely an improvement over the built-in-mics in laptops. And with companies having a lot of remote work these days, I'd highly recommend this!

This is seriously a great portable microphone for the price! Included in the box are the microphone itself a usb cable as well as a desktop tripod. The microphone itself is made of metal and feels very sturdy in the hand with a nice weighty feel. The size of this USB microphone is smaller than I was expecting but it is about 1/3 the size of a Blue Yeti microphone so its great for portability with a laptop or on the go setup. It connects and is powered using a single USB cable (provided in the box) and my Windows laptop was able to install the drivers automatically within a few minutes. The microphone features a single dial in the front for input volume so you can adjust it quickly as needed. Turning the dial all the way to the left mutes the microphone.The audio quality of the mic is great and comparable to my Yeti microphone. I would suggest using the microphone close to your mouth as that is how these types of mics perform the best. The microphone also provides great sound isolation and is able to ignore distracting background noises so it would be great for Zoom or conference calls.Overall I would definitely recommend this microphone. I love the build quality and sound of the mic. Its a great value for it's price point. Some things I would have liked to see would be a dedicated mute button to easily mute the microphone without turning the dial all the way down, a led light indicating that the mic is on or is active, and maybe a headphone jack for audio output/monitoring. But these things are just features that I am used to on my Blue Yeti a microphone that is at least 2x the price. I will definitely be keeping this microphone as a part of my portable laptop setup this would really come in handy for recording voice overs on videos I make.

Después de mucho buscar y y ver reseñas me decidí por adquirir este micrófono con un tanto de incertidumbre, ya que si bien es cierto no necesito calidad profesional para mi proyecto, si deseaba obtener grabaciones con un mínimo de ruido y un rango dinámico aceptable. En cuanto llegó lo probé y mis expectativas se cumplieron sobradamente.Si la perilla y en Windows 10 se ajusta el nivel al 100%, el micrófono es extremadamente sensible y captará hasta los sonidos más tenues a su alrededor teniendo un comportamiento semi-omnidireccional. En esas condiciones entregará un nivel de ruido que se nota, pero que se puede eliminar fácilmente en postproducción o con algún plugin VST en tiempo real. La mejor calidad de sonido la obtuve reduciendo el control de nivel de Windows a un valor entre el 80% ~ 87%, y la perilla al 50% aproximadamente, y hablando aproximadamente a unos 10 cm del micrófono y de esta manera obtuve una grabación limpia, que aunque ligeramente baja de nivel, la pude amplificar sin notar el ruido, ni una perdida de calidad del audio (aquí es donde los 24 bits y la frecuencia de muestreo de 19200 Hz se notan). El estar tan cerca me llevó a observar que a pesar de que no le puse filtro anti-viento ni filtro anti-pop, las oclusivas no fueron tan evidentes; sin embargo si recomendaría complementarlo con un filtro antipop. En general me gustó mucho la calidad de sus terminados y solamente por ponerle un pero, el tripié aunque se siente de un plástico agradable al tacto y sostener adecuadamente al micrófono, lo siento un tanto "flexible" que me da la sensación de que se podría romper fácilmente con un recargón involuntario.

Es muy bueno el micro para iniciar y por el precio, con un poco de conocimientos en un editor de audio consigues un sonido bastante limpio y de por si el audio sin editar es bastante bueno, en discord y en juegos se nota muy buena calidad, recomendaría comprar un brazo para sacar el mejor provecho.De igual manera te hacen un regalo por comprarlo

I have a lot of echo whatever distance I am from it. Trying to improve it. People says ok but... nah.. I would like that it comes with a software to improve it. Sounds in modern ages is AI modified. Seems with this one is bare cardioids and suit yourself..

Facilísimo de instalar, no requiere software especial y funciona sin problemas en cualquier aplicación. Probado con Zoom, Teams y Skype con éxito. La relación precio-calidad es la mejor parte porque verdaderamente es un producto de calidad a un precio accesible.
