This is a classic of Zen Bhuddism and it deserves more respect than I've given it so far.I have the Kindle edition, which makes it very convenient for me to peruse in those off moments when I want something to read but don't want to get deep into a story, but want to occupy my mind. This fits the bill marvellously.My only complaint is that they remain just outside of my reach, and that is not so much a complaint as a realization that I'm not as smart as I think I am.Given the very inexpensive price for the Kindle edition and the opportunity to expand horizons I recommend this heartily. Who knows, maybe you can find your Buddha nature.

I was inspired by several quotes from the book. After reading it, I have even more. And it has caused me to think more deeply about the majority of the book that I still dont understand.

I'm very happy to have bought this wonderful collection of classic Zen koans with commentary, but I only give the book 4 stars because I think the formatting could have been a little better - it's not at all bad, but it could have been better. "All of you are perfect as you are, and you could all do with a little improvement" - a koan?

I downloaded this version of the timeless classic onto my kindle.It can be referenced at any moment and at any point in the text with a reliable zen reward. What could be better.

Certo è un testo zen, ma ad una profana come me, in effetti, rimane un pò ostico come lettura. ne avevo letti altri e mi sono risultati più comprensibili. Questo sarà sicuramente superiore alla mia capacità di comprensione, ma insomma non mi è piaciuto.
