These inoculation loops are a fantastic tool for anyone doing agar work or culture transfers. I've used them extensively in my home lab for mushroom cultivation, and they perform exceptionally well. The wire is firm but flexible enough to make clean, precise loops, and they're easy to sterilize with a flame. If you're having any trouble with the loop picking up cultures, just choke up on the handle a bit to get better control and pressure — that tip made a big difference for me. Overall, they’re reliable, durable, and make transferring cultures a smooth process. Great value and a must-have for anyone working with agar plates!

Can't complain, really. Stands up well enough to flame sterilization, and I haven't had any durability or contamination issues using them. That said, I'll still prefer using sterile swabs over loops whenever possible, but for what they're worth, they do exactly what you need them to.

They seem to be reasonably well made for this price point. I'd buy them again.

The loops are good and as described. I have no complaints.

Super thin loop is small, bends easily unless set close to the handle and no matter how its placed in the handle, the loop cannot be used with induction coil to heat sterilize. Had to use my own stainless wire to make a proper loop that is sturdy without putting the handle over the dish and gets red hot when sterilized.
