JBL Cinema SB100 60W Two Channel Premium Soundbar - Black

The soundbar sounds great, It has excellent low and mid sound. However it does lack the high ends a little bit. The soundbar has Optical in, AUX in and sub woofer out. It even comes with its own Optical cable! The instruction manual tells you how to tune the soundbar into your TV remote and takes about 2 mins however your tv remote will not be able to turn the device off, this is not a problem though as it will automatically turn itself off after about 10 mins of no audio. To the people worrying if it will have too much bass I really wouldn't worry about it. I love my bass and I'm even considering buying a Sub Woofer for it.TLDR: Great sound. Don't worry about "too much bass". Easy to Tune your own remote. Easy to setup.

Having bought a cheaper 50" led TV the sound was awful so needed something to make this better. Saw this soundboard that was reasonably priced. Arrived the next day and easy set up. Basically plug and play! Beware when purchasing as it has no HDMI or USB. Connection to a TV output is either a optical cable, which my TV didn't have, or an auxiliary cable, 3.5 Jack into the unit. I had to use the headphone output, 3.5 Jack and on the TV sound settings change the headphone output to a line out. Hey presto ready to use. Most TVs, the expensive ones, should have an optical out so shouldn't be a problem. My TVs output is a SPDIF socket! Who the hell uses these? Plus the bar has a subwoofer connection and again most expensive TVs also have a subwoofer output. That would make this bar work better. Anyway the bar comes with two power cables one for the UK 3 pin plug and one for the EU 2 pin. It comes with a decent optical cable and a auxiliary Jack lead with the other end a red and white RGB type plugs which again most popular TVs have. Plus you get a bracket for wall mounting which the unit fits in without any screws. And remote. Very pleasing so far.

It's unhelpful, but thank you anyway.It's unhelpful because your solution doesn't avoid the problem, since then not only do I not get the onscreen volume display, but I also need to use two remotes, something which your own guide says I don't need to do - "This will let you control both the soundbar and your TV with a single remote." I checked the online guide before I bought. I presume that you anticipate that many users will have a Tivo or similar box and will be using the Tivo remote.I think that your truthful answer is that what I want to do can't be done, contrary to what your guide says, but perhaps you'll kindly confirm please, yes or no...........I've had no reply. But I have eventually solved the problem (synchronising the soundbar sound with the tv onscreen volume display). I won't say what it is as presumably Harman don't want anyone to know.

Wanted a good budget price soundbar to improve sound from LG tv and which had a reliable remote. This product fills the bill exactly. Excellent sound performance and programmed to use Sky remote. Yes pay more (lots more) and sound could probably be improved but to me sound reproduction is perfectly acceptable. Easy to set up and programme and fits well under a 32in tv. Thoroughly recommend

I bought this for a new Sony flat screen TV which has a super picture but very poor sound. The soundbar absolutely transforms the TV with a really rich sound. The black colour makes it nice and discrete when sat under the TV.

A bit of a pain to set up, shame you can't control it a bit better but good value

Ho comprato il soundbar JBL e mi è arrivato dopo 4 giorni lavorativi. Purtroppo il prodotto era difettato. Ho chiamato il numero verde e la gentilissima Daniela C. mi ha risolto in pochi minuti il problema organizzando il ritiro del prodotto difettato e il nuovo invio del prodotto al mio indirizzo. In 3 giorni ho ricevuto il nuovo soundbar JBL: prodotto ottimo che funziona (almeno finora...) anche con una TV da 40'. Sostituisce benissimo un home theater (non avendo molte pretese...). Utile il dispositivo che memorizza il volume sul telecomando della TV.JBL e Amazon: doppia soddisfazione.

Il prodotto ordinato ha un'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tempi di spedizione veloci ed il pacco risulta sempre tracciabile. Inoltre ho avuto la fortuna di acquistarlo con un ottimo sconto. Molto soddisfatto.

Prodotto minimalista ma non per questo poco pregevole. Svolge egregiamente il proprio compito, che è quello di migliorare l'audio delle sottilissime smart tv. Il risultato è ottimo: dialoghi puliti anche a basso volume, suono più corposo e dettagli musicali apprezzabili. Ovviamente non è un 5.1 e non ci si devono aspettare miracoli, però il rapporto qualità/prezzo è strepitoso. Mi riferisco, ovviamente, al prezzo Amazon, avendo acquistato la barra a 99,00(in una nota catena di elettronica lo stesso prodotto è in vendita ad un prezzo doppio, oggettivamente troppo elevato nonostante la buona fattura del prodotto). Tornando alle prime impressioni di questa SB100: facilissima da installare essendo disponibili solamente un ingresso analogico (jack stereo) e uno digitale. Nessuna diavoleria elettronica di cui sono stracolme altre soundbar (se non una funzione "surround" assolutamente impercettibile all'ascolto); una volta installata, la si può istruire affinché risponda al telecomando della tv, così da non doverne utilizzare due. A questo punto ci si può dimenticare di averla: si accende e spegne in sincrono con la tv o altri apparecchi collegati. Ottimo per la tv e la visione di film in dvd. Sul versante musicale, se "stressata" con pezzi hard rock, va un po' in sofferenza e il suono si "impasta" un po'; comunque sia, il test con la musica non ha molto senso, visto che il prodotto nasce per altre finalità (ciò non impedisce, comunque, di godersi un dvd musicale, se non si hanno troppe pretese di spazialità del suono e separazione dei canali). Consiglio di investire 15 euro ulteriori per comprare cavi di qualità in quanto quelli in dotazione fanno pena e per il resto: JBL è sempre una garanzia!!!

appena installato potevo usare il telecomando del televisore per regolare il volume del soundbar. dopo qualche mese ha smesso di funzionare e adesso devo usare il telecomando del soundbar per regolare il volume perchè quello della tv modifica solo il volume della tv. la qualità audio è media. non ho fatto resi/cambi per pigrizia, alla fine è un prodotto discreto.
