DHPCamilla Upholstered Platform Bed with Luxe Vertical Channel Tufted Headboard, No Box Spring Needed, King, Black Velvet

I was wearing to buy a bed off Amazon as I've read a few reviews that weren't great but I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this bed in IVORY. I read a review saying the ivory is actually closer to a gray vs the photo and I was really hoping that was true because the photo had a bit more of a yellow hue than I was hoping for. Bed arrived a few days early and I am in love. It is definitely more of a light gray color (yay) and it was easy to assemble. It is waaaay more sturdy than our previous bed. I love that once you tuck your linens in around the sides and at the foot of the bed, it leaved this little lip around the bed that is soft and seems like a high quality feature. Another feature I was ex ited about was that the headboard goes all the way down,meaning it doesn't have a potential gap between headboard and your mattress where your pillow can slip back. This was the case with our last bed. Love this bed.

Bed looks just like the photos. We used our Purple platform instead of the included support slats and had no issues getting everything to fit. Much sturdier this way.The bed fabric is very soft and velvety. Nice thick footer boards. Everything was nicely packaged. Easy to read instructions.One knock is I don’t like the Velcro enclosure on the back of the headboard (not seamless enough) but it’s against a wall so it doesn’t matter really.We are really happy with this purchase overall.

Love it!! The material is soft and it was easy enough to assemble alone, but ended up having my sister help to make it go faster. It is a little squeaky in some areas but I’m sure I could fix that or adjust some screws. I purchased the ivory color and it kind of looks light grey to me, but still love it.

We searched and mulled for months to get the right velvet king platform, and we are glad to have pulled the trigger with this!We have had this about a month now.There was no damage from shipping.All the tools needed, came with it.The bed was easy to put together, but the process took us some time.It’s sturdy and very heavy, with the mattresses - We used two twins and I would totally recommend it!It doesn’t creak and is very sturdy.The lines of manufacturing looked more expensive than what we spent.I would recommend this for a modest and classy, but functional look.

Perfect! Arrived about a week early. Took about 90 min to assemble all by myself, pretty straightforward. Seems sturdy with no creaking. Looks great and looks more expensive than it was!

Very impressed with this modern style bed frame. Straight forward to assemble and its very sturdy. It’s not too low to the ground either and you don’t notice the difference without a box spring. I like how we won’t hit of heads or shins on the bed frame because it’s a soft velvet all around. Very happy with this investment.

We ordered this bed in March and head front was broken (see picture). I refunded it and they sent another bed with the headboard broken (see picture). My kid cannot sleep on the floor for on more month so I did not return it again... but how to get a solution soon. Worse quality ever.

This bed is beautiful but I had to give 4 stars because it had a small stain on it. It’s not too noticeable but paying almost $600 you don’t want any imperfections. The headboard is kind of short but I seriously love it. It has made my room look bigger. The material is super soft.
