As someone who drinks a lot of coffee with a lot of sugar, I've been hunting around for sugar free products that don't ruin the flavor of the drink or leave an awful aftertaste. Aspartame is notorious for its powerful aftertaste, so knowing that this was made with the Splenda sweetener sucralose, it made purchasing this syrup easier.Monin makes some fantastic regular syrups that I prefer over most others. When it comes to quality and rich taste, I find it hard to beat them. As for this sugar free syrup, I can certainly taste the quality in it. The sugar free vanilla syrup is thick, and the flavor mildly creamy, which is nice. But when I add it to my coffee, it strangler muddles down the flavor of the coffee. Not a lot, but noticeably so. And I found the aftertaste to be present. It was subdued, but there.Overall, this is the best sugar free syrup I have tried thus far. But for someone trying to make the switch from regular to sugar free, the differences in taste are still easily noticeable. I will say that it did not make my coffee taste awful or undrinkable. It was just ... Okay. Which is a win for Monin compared to other sugar free options I've tried (Torani and Starbucks). But it is still a bit of a lose for my tastebuds. It's something that, if I kept at it, I'm sure I could adjust to the taste over a couple of weeks.

the 5 stars is just the syrup here. The vanilla has a rich, almost custardly taste. You can't detect the artificial sweetener at all. I bought it because Peet's coffee where I live uses it and it just tastes amazing. Miles better than the popular one that Starbucks and everyone else uses.I won't be buying here anymore because if you buy 2 bottles directly from Monin for like $9, they'll ship it for free. I paid almost the price of 2 here to get one.

I love this flavor of vanilla syrup and it has a fair price. It comes in a recycle-able glass bottle. It's pretty concentrated, so you dont use a lot for a double latte. My wife was a coffee purist for years, but she even adds a little of this occasionally bc she can control how much. She thinks coffee shops use too much syrup, but when you pore it yourself you can figure out what is to your taste.

I was hesitant to try another sugar free syrup for my coffee but I heard some reviews saying this product doesn’t have an aftertaste. After using if a few times now I can confirm there is no aftertaste with this product.

Love this stuff - just wanted to give a heads up because I did not check the posting closely enough when ordering- this is 24.5 oz (not the larger 1 liter 33.8 oz) and the screw top does not fit the pump I used with my previous bottle - fortunately I still had the empty plastic bottle.

Good taste either in hot drink (vanilla latte) or cold (with bubbly water, like an Italian soda). No aspartame (so no headaches for me).

Taste NOTHING like Vanilla! AND it’s suppose to have NO sugar, so why does it taste sooo sweet? Could it be the “artificial flavors!?” Very disappointed! If the company stands by their product- why is there a NO RETURN POLICY!?

My bottle was damaged and leaked. I am trying to notify the owner but it tells me this product is not returnable. I do not want to use a damaged product. Please advise.
