This is a compact unit, much smaller than other PTZ units I have; however, the performance is big. The build is strong (some type of metal alloy) and will withstand the elements for a long time. It comes with all the hardware you will need to complete the installation. You need to provide the SD card with can be as big as 128GB and will record at highest resolution for a couple weeks. Installation with POE is quick, easy, and straight forward. It has two-way audio which make is very useful as an entrance camera. The quality of the audio is good if subject is not too far.I was very anxious to try out the new toy, so I connected to my switch I started the initial operation using my chrome browser and it worked flawlessly. I then integrated into my NVR and as expected perfect. The NVR found the camera quickly and I was up and running in no time. Finally, I downloaded the android app for remote viewing using my phone and after a few minutes of setup I was viewing the camera with my phone.The image and recording are bright, sharp, and colorful. Night vison is par with much more expensive models.I highly recommend this camera. I feel it is best for an entrance or other limited area where you can take full advantage of the two-way audio feature. The zoom is not that large as other PTZ I have so it is perfect for smaller perimeter surveillance.This is a great camera at a great price. If you’re looking to secure your property, particularly in a reception area where you can benefit from two-way audio this is the perfect camera.I have purchase from JideTech in the past and their customer support is unsurpassed. The resposnd to all questions and concerns within hours not days. They even sent me replacement connectors, screw that I have damaged or lost. The value of their customer service alone makes this great camera a fabulous deal.I am so please with their products and customer service I am planning to purchase their model Hi2255-PTZ-NS1-X, 5MP H.265 PTZ POE IP Security Dome Camera with 20X Optical Zoom Pan/Tilt for another part of my property. This is my impression of the “PTZ POE HD 5MP Security IP Camera 4X Zoom H.265 Waterproof ONVIF Surveillance Built in Two Ways Audio Support IR Night Vision Auto Tracking and SD Card Slot”The camera arrived on time and was securely packed with no damage from shipping. I had wanted a ceiling mount but could not find what I wanted in my price range for my first POE PTZ camera. This camera is to replace two fixed-view cameras that had been in use for several years. Wind from the manufacture was very helpful answering all my questions and sent a POE switch to replace a POE switch that I had purchased but was not appropriate for this camera. The printed instructions were confusing, however, with Wind’s directions I was able to get it up and running the first try on my cell phone using the CamHiPro software. I was really happy with the daytime image and using the 4x optical zoom. The 5mp was a great improvement over my old cameras. Night vision is also good using the color option. I have not tried to install software on my PC yet as I am still exploring options available on my cell phone.Sine I wanted a ceiling mount I was able to come up with a fastening method using a piece of bottom rail of white vinyl PVC railing (about 2½”x 3”) in a vertical position attached to truss member of overhang. See photo. As mounted I get a full 360° pan. Cable is in the vertical PVC, an end cap was then silicone to keep out moisture.Audio is not the best, noise when moving camera, also concerned that speaker doesn’t seem protected from moisture. We get lots of snow in wintertime, concerned moving parts of camera may freeze-up. So far I really like the camera, zoom in and out is continuous and in focus, pan and tilt is in slow individual movements – would like them to be continuous also. Happy with Wind and his prompt responses, will be looking at JideTech in the future for greater optical zoom.

Update July 2, 2021So far the camera has been working great and I will be ordering another one soon for another location. Posting couple pictures of the camera itself and the image zoomed 4x and not zoomed.Original ReviewI have been buying JideTech products for about 4 years now and so far I've never been disappointed. This camera showed up in a search for 5mp PTZ cameras and since I trust JideTech and this was a new product of theirs at a very reasonable price, I decided to give it a try. First of all, the camera is pretty compact for a PTZ of this kind (compared to all other cameras I've used) and the night vision is really amazing! The picture is very crisp and clear and there are plenty of settings and adjustments if you want to fine tune it to your liking. The NVR recognized it right away and it allows me to control the PTZ functions without any issues. I haven't tried their app because I didn't nneed to but I am sure that it would work fine as all of their products so far have not failed me. Will post screenshots and pictures soon. Definitely recommend it if you sre looking for a reasonably priced good quality PTZ camera.

When it functions, it functions fairly well. Camera pan and tilt is very slow and randomly ceases to respond. When it ceases to respond it does so for several hours, points itself at the wall, defocuses and regardless of whether it's reset (assuming you can get into the menu before it reboots and bootcycles again) will boot cycle for at least an hour before it randomly starts to respond again. When it bootcycles, it's not functioning properly since when it's doing its self-check, it's grinding as though it cannot find its zero points. I purchased one of these cameras, had it replaced and the second one behaved in exactly the same fashion as the first with and without using Agent DVR to control it. As long as it's used as a fixed camera however, it works quite well. The IR lighting is quite good and gives a fairly large field of view with fairly good video quality. As long as the PTZ function is not utilized, it's an okay camera, but not for the price. Better off getting a fixed camera for a third the price.

I was able to add this cam to my lorex NR908 NVR and it works flawlessly with it using POE. All the recordings are done by the NVR and i am able to control pan tilt and zoom from the NVR itself as well as from the NVR App. The picture is amazing and it is even better than the lorex 4k cam. Even the night vision is better than the lorex own cam. The only thing is that it is a bit bulky and heavy but that is expected of this type of PTZ cam.

First off, when purchasing this camera and a "SD card" at the same time, be aware as it is not in the description this camera takes a MicroSD card.The camera works well. I find the trigger is very sensitive even with it turned down to 15%.Also when I change the trigger area to remove the sidewalk across the street it still activates when someone walks down the sidewalk.The auto tracking works well, just a little jittery.Overall I am happy with it.
