I don't usually have an ammonia problem but when I do like now I only depend on this product to get things going in the right direction..i had a major die off so I'm just cycling my tank but I've never lost fish when I had them and had to use this product...Best on the market as for as I'm concerned..and I've used for over 5 years when needed..

Very high price for a small 4-ounce bottle

This stuff didn't work for my tank. I added it to my 5 gallon tank (I have 2 fish and a very small snail) and it has been 2 days since I first added it. The ammonia levels are still in the danger level. I did water changed but nothing is working especially not this.

You can't use this for only 2 days. I first bought this at our local fish store which I'm sad to say closed down. They recommended this along with something else and told us to come back in two weeks. Then we took it from there. It depends on if you have existing fish or not. With tropical fish it's best to have someone walk you through it first. Since all the good mom and pop places are going out of business, you need to go on line and talk to people who are more than happy to brag about what they know. I would have given this 4 stars because it does take a little time, but I think it deserves way more than 1 star so I gave it 5 to balance things out a bit! I continuously use this when I clean my tank and change water and i've always had good results.
