Very comfy, difficult to deal with.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This controller is basically a poor mans joycon. If you do not have the money to buy a regular joycon then you buy these.Starting off they are really easy on the hands especially if you have bigger hands. They are pretty cool looking tooStarting drifting day 1. What's worse is that they'll drift randomly. The range on these SUCKS. I play my switch on my bed mainly and when I have one joycon disconnected and at most 3 feet away from the console, the imputs gets lostIt is INCREDIBLY difficult undock joycons. A chore is an understatment. It is a full on dedicated task to pull the joycon off. They die waaaay to quickly and even when charging with the provided cable battery life varied from 1 hour on a full charge to almost 5 hours. They randomly disconnect even while playing in handheld mode. The vibrate isn't the HD rumble that rolls though the joycon. It's way more louder and random. It could pobably break glassIf you are like 30 dollars short of a real joycon and can wait don't buy these. If you're looking for a gift for someone and you like the color scheme of these buy stickers or learn to replace a joycon shell.UPDATE September 12th 2020I contacted the manufacturer about a replacement and I'm not sure if they've updated their design but the controller is a bit easier to pull off, possible with one hand if dedicated and the battery life lasted well into the 11 hour mark. The range and vibration is more or less the same.

does charge while switch is charging when connected
I bought these after reading some reviews that they had a long battery life and paired well. I only needed the left one to replace my badly drifting original joycon and was happy to discover that no one mentioned it can charge while attached to the switch when its charging. Its a bit bigger then the original but that's expected when every controller has to be different; its comfortable in hand and helps with long holding times; it even tells you when it needs charging by blinking green; and the switch found it immediately when slid in to replace the old one. Its been a week and no drifting problems unlike the original where drift became a problem early in and its nicely sensitive. It does have a loud rumble which many have stated but I don't mind it. Def recommend if in need of a new controller.

Works Great!
Works just like original controllers and actually feels better to hold with better surface area grip. Seems To be a little heftier and feels more rugged too. They clip into the Switch exactly the same as originals and pair just as easily as original too. Family plays lots of 4-player couch type games, so having extra remotes is essential, and with these, you can get two pairs for the price of one original equipment pair. Very pleased and impressed so far.

Must-have controllers!
LOVE these joy cons! 100% more comfortable than the Nintendo Switch brand controllers. The vibration on these joy cons is different from the Nintendo brand controllers but you get used to it. The “+” and “-“ buttons on the top right and left on the controllers are much easier to press, too. Definitely worth the buy!

Solid replacement on a budget, but not without drawbacks.
Review update: So the "L" button doesn't work. I finally convinced my wife to play Zelda: BotW, she got to the first shrine and got super frustrated because she couldn't figure out how to use the magnesis rune, and thought she was doing something wrong. Turns out it was just the controller. These replacement Joy-cons are slightly larger than a stock controller. I actually really like the way they feel. They are more comfortable than the stock Joy-cons IMO.However, any accessories you already have for Joy-cons will probably not fit because of this.I as of yet, have not experienced any drift from these controllers. Which is good, because that's probably why most of us are looking for replacement joy cons, am I right? There is no NFC function as stated. That's not a deal breaker for me or for most people. The biggest drawback so far I've seen is the vibration of the controllers. There seems to be little to no control over how little or hard these controllers will vibrate. For example, my wife loves to play Animal Crossing. When she is fishing, and the fish start to nibble, every little nibble is a full forced rumble, instead of it feeling like a little nibble as the stock joy cons do.Are they a perfect replacement? No. But at the price, would I buy another set? Yes.

One malfunctioned after a month and a half
Got these shortly after labor day. A month and a half later and one of the controllers is having issues responding. Specifically the A button. B button isn't working so well either. The left one is still working fine but i have a feeling it's because i never use the buttons, just the joystick. I can't recall if this had the option of a warrantee, but if you buy these i suggest getting the warrantee.

Great option for half the cost.
Bought this because I was having some minor issues with my current joy-cons and wanted a back-up. I have to say for the cost I am not disappointed. In fact, the shape and design of the controllers feel a lot better to hold than my Nintendo branded joy-cons. The materials used do feel cheaper in quality and the left-hand side was a little stiff going on but has loosened up over time. The sticks take getting used to and I would have preferred a more rounded edge than a sharp edge. However, overall these are great for the price I paid and again I am not disappointed. No drift problems or functional issues so far and I would say I've probably logged close to 15 hours of use.

Good
I was really excited to get this since we have the two that came with our machine and when our the kids have their friends visiting it’s hard to just use the two when they all want to play. I gave it one star less because setting it up is hard it was to connecting and occasionally didn’t connect to our computer at all.
