Fresh nutty taste
Mix this with olive oil for making salad dressing. Mix with MCT for bulletproof coffee. Or use solo as a vegetable dressing. Contains essential omega 3 fatty acids. Is part of a healthy eat plan. And it’s delicious.

I love how well it absorbs into the skin!
So I was looking up oils that are good for acneic skin: low oleic acid content, high omega 3, and not too heavy....this is the oil to get! It also helps with itching skin and irritation. I use this on my face and have completely gotten off of moisturizers, which almost always have a comedogenic ingredient and too many ingredients too know what is causing problems. Using just this one oil, although it would be great to mix essential oils and other skin oils with....absorbs into the skin perfectly! It is a very light oil, in my opinion, lighter then jojoba oil even...but way better. It is the highest oil in omega 3 which I am sure we could all use more of since all the common oils used in products all contain omega 9 and sometimes omega 6. My skin had drastically improved, no new traumatic breakouts and all around my skin is doing great! It also says that this oil can be used internally as a source of omega 3, which I have tried a few times...it is pretty tasteless but seemingly a really good product for internal/external use.

Won't buy again until there is more info provided by the company on what this is and how it is made. Too many unknowns.
At Gundry's suggestion, I sought out and bought this Perilla oil. I went through both bottles. Stuck to low to no heat when using it, and substituted it for olive oil. No real complaints, seemed to be fine. However, things aren't always what they seem. My complaint lies in that we really don't know what this stuff is. There is no info other than a tiny sticker on what is basically a BPA water bottle. I seriously doubt this was ever tested for contaminants and it certainly isn't certified as "edible"... Honestly, this could be processed vegetable oil and we wouldn't really know the difference. Tasteless and odorless it is certainly hard to tell. If I've learned one thing over the past 15 years of nutrition, it's that there is no loyalty to customers. Companies will do whatever they want. I suggest buying perilla oil, but find one that is more "documented"... Maybe this is 100% pure awesome perilla oil without contaminants. Maybe it's 30% filler oil with left over solvents. NO ONE KNOWS.

A very mild taste. Should be very healthy: that's why I bought it.
I bought this to see if it positively affects mast cell problems like asthma. I'll have a better idea of that when it gets hot, and when pollution is worse. I am using it to soak some quercitin in a spoon. Quercitin (a mast cell stabilizer) is only 10% absorbed as a powder. A pig study found it best absorbed with a meal with 17% fats/oils. This has very little taste. Sometimes I add it to foods with the quercitin and another spice, asafoetida. Also add black cumin seed oil (Nigella sativa, beneficial AP& has a black pepper taste), and I add toasted sesame oil and coconut aminos for an Asian inspired flavor plus health benefit. Haven't cooked it on the heat, I add it last. Not sure of heat stability.

no taste
I take a tablespoon daily for cardio heath, I like it, it is tasteless , I have used other brands that had an undesirable taste. I used to be light headed and sometimes a bit dizzy, but not since I have been taking this oil, not sure if the oil has anything to do with it or if it iso just a coincidence.

Better Taste than Oil Oil
My husband and I are on the Gundry MD Plant Paradox diet, so we ordered it. Oils are a big part of this diet, especially in the Keto Plant Paradox Intensive Care Program, which I am on now. I am not a big lover of the taste of olive oils. The Perilla Seed Oil gives a different flavor that is much welcomed by me.
