Emprian Wax Warmer Waxing Kit
Emprian Wax Warmer Waxing Kit comes with a warmer, a bag of wax beads, a couple of spatulas - big and small, tools for removing nose hair, little scissors, facial hair removing tool and trimmer with intechangeable heads. Based on the product description it was also supposed to include a cooling gel pad, but there wasn't one in my package.I got this mainly for the warmer and wax - as an alternative to going to a salon for waxing. I don't really have a need for facial hair tools so won't be using or reviewing them, but the scissors are very dull and useless - they won't even cut paper and are not effective in trimming hair or nails at all.The directions were easy to understand, and the warmer was easy to use: there is an indicator light that lets you know that it's working/heating up (it turns off when the wax reaches the target temperature). You can select the temperature to heat it to, but the indicator is hard to see, it would be better if it was marked in a contrast color, so you could see which temperature is selected. The wax beads were easy to melt. I followed the "quicker" method: selected max temperature and put the lid on. Once it melted, I let it cool down, and dropped the temperature to the min, which was just right for me.I have never used this type of wax before (but used the wax strips from a major US brand), but I didn't find it difficult to use. The wax is not very sticky to the skin, so removes hair without pulling or damaging the skin. It takes some getting used to - you don't need strips, just pick up the wax at the end and pull against the direction of your hair growth. Even using the largest spatula I was only able to do one small section at a time and it took considerably longer than I thought it would (and certainly longer than any other hair removing method that I ever tried). The included amount of wax beads was enough to do both legs from the knees down and there's a tiny bit left - for something small like eyebrows or armpits. It is a little messy as it leaves little pieces of wax here and there, and you need to massage some oil to remove them from the skin.Overall, this is a nice kit and will get the job done, but it takes some time investment and you'd need more wax beads if you want to do the whole body or are considering using this regularly. It is also messier than pre-waxed strips (the ones that you warm up in your hands, apply, pull off, and rinse with water), and takes up space on the counter (or in the bathroom cabinet). It does remove hair cleanly and the results last for weeks - beats shaving!

Not bad for a first timer
I was able to use the Emprian wax warmer waxing kit today. I used to get my eyebrows waxed so I was familiar with the whole waxing concept. I wanted to try it for myself on my legs which turned out okay for my first time. I like how you get a sample bag of wax beads (bubblegum scent) when you get your kit. The wooden spatulas, hair removal scissors, cooling gel pad, nose hair trimmer are all a plus. There's also an electric lip and facial hair remover which I LOVE! Have to get those chin hairs up close and personal. The instructions are pretty easy to follow so me being impatient I set the warmer to 240 degrees (caution: extremely hot) which takes about 10 or so to melt the wax faster. I also didn't want to wait 2 hours after showering to use it. Can't afford to be ashy for that long since they recommend not using creams or moisturizers before waxing. Since it was my first time, I'm sure applying the wax to my leg was not the most professional, but I made it work and got a lot of hair off. I did make sure to put the wax back on 160-180 degrees to help it cool some from the high heat. Not a pro at using the spatula, but again it worked out in the end. I had to go over some parts as the hair on my leg was exceptionally long but was able to get it all off. I did one leg today just to see how fast the hair grows back. When I shave the hair usually starts to grow back by the next morning and that's irritating. I'll update my review whether I have hair growth tomorrow morning or not. I didn't use the cooling gel pad because I wasn't experiencing any pain from the wax. Cleanup was easy since I didn't have a makeup remover scraper like the instructions said you can use. I made sure to use majority of the wax and put the warmer back on 240 degrees, put on some gloves and wiped the inside of the warmer with a paper towel. I didn't use the entire pack of the wax beads (only used about half) which made clean up a little easier. Once I wiped out the inside, I lowered the temperature and was able to get the rest out with some cotton rounds and go gone. Once it cooled I wiped the inside out with some alcohol and stored it. Overall I'm satisfied with the product and the amount of tools/accessories you get. I definitely would recommend to my friends who are more into waxing than I am. I do know I plan on using it again on different areas and want to try and perfect the application method a little more.
