My purchase for the LONPOO STEREO SHELF SYSTEM is Awesome!! The sound is great , and is so easy to set up and understand!! I recommend this Home Stereo Shelf System to consumers , if they are look for a great value , for such a nice CD & Radio system!! Thank you LONPOO!! 😀

I've only had this for a couple of weeks, but so far, I'm very pleased with it. Despite being inexpensive, it sounds good and works well.

I bought this strictly for the CD player and not for the radio and thank goodness because the radio doesn't bring in even local stations. If I hold onto the antennae it will come in on one or two stations. So the radio is worthless to me. The stereo, when playing a CD, is kind of muffled unless I have it on the JAZZ setting and honestly, when I have the EQ set for that, it plays my CD's beautifully. I can hear tones in the music that I didn't even hear on my Bose Wave which this is a replacement for. The spa music I listened to was heavenly. The blue tooth aspect is fine as well but not as crystal clear as the CD player. It's an attractive looking unit. I will keep this stereo only because I didn't intend to use the radio otherwise I would have returned it.

A full rich sound.I wanted a simple cd player that fits on a shelf for the bedroom,no alarm clock etc. The cd drawer is flimsy so load and unload with care and the programmed sound enhanced controls are basically useless ie rock, jazz,pop,and classical but fear not just leave it on flat and the sound is perfect for all genres.The 40W also can be easily heard in other rooms if needed.

I recently received my Lonpoo CD player. Having a fairly extensive collection of CDs just sitting in a box I thought it time to get a player. Box arrived on time. Box arrived in good condition. It didn't look like it had been a repack. Upon opening the box, I discovered the remote not in its bag just rolling around in the box. As the ad for this stereo mentions, they do not provide batteries. If you choose to buy this, make a note to get two AAA batteries. I found that the remote is awkward in that it doesn't just say on/off or play so it takes a bit of getting used to it. OK, installed the power cord and nothing. Why you may ask, well in addition to the power button on the remote, there is a toggle switch on the back of the unit that you must turn on as well. OK, now we have power, set the mode to CD and drop a disc in the tray. Hit the button to make it play and voila, music starts to play. For a small desk top unit, the sound is adequate for a small area. The volume indicator only goes the 32, which is a meaningless piece of information. You will not be breaking any windows or annoying your neighbors with the volume at its highest level. I could barely hear it when I went outside. So, you won't be listening to any music at stadium level volumes. If you just want a nice sound in a confined area this unit is good for that. I tried to play the radio but without the antenna installed I could pick up no stations. They do provide an antenna, but I could find no receptacle in which to plug in the antenna on the back of the unit. There is a standard coax connector on back, but the antenna wire comes with a connector not compatible with the coax connector. I didn't buy it for the radio so no big deal to me. Overall, at this price point I don't feel the price matches the quality, I think the price point a bit on the high side. Almost $100.00 is steep, I think at $50.00 it would be a great buy.

Update: Completely different outlook when the product works as Intended. I received a unit that malfunctioned on the USB playback and the quality team at LONPOO reached out to me and sent another unit.. It worked and i must say what and EXCELLENT Music stereo/box for the money. CD player is also a great player including Mp3'S. The speakers as a hole are fantastic. As you can tell I'm happy with my purchase. Would I buy It again? YES! Previous review below. (dissatisfied review) The sound Is fine however the usb did not function. i would not by again.

Straight out of the box it would not power on with either the switch on face plate or the remote. FYI: the 2 AAA batteries needed for remote are not included. I can't tell if the AC power cord was defective or the unit itself. Sent mine back.

Love it. Nice sound, and just the right size. Looks great too.
