Best new addition to my camping gear.
Pros1) next best thing to having a portable tap in the forest.2) Gravity fed purification process is much better than squeezing a plastic bag.3) holds a sizeable amount of water which reduces trips to the river.4) compact and lightweight when hiking. Especially given the functionality it brings.5) feels very durable and works well no hiccups so far.Cons1) if the river is low on water involves a bit of strategy to get water in the bag.2) the tap on the hose squeezes the hose itself it’s not an issue now but it may lead to a leaks after many uses.In summary.Very happy with this purchase this is going to be a mandatory item on any hike I go on in future.

Fast water filter
I used this on a three day hunt in Alaska and it worked great. Filtered water fast and neither I or my biddy got sick. Water came out looking and tasting clean.

Fantastic!
Used this for the first time in the Boundary Waters NE of Ely, MN where store-bought fresh drinking water is hours away. Wilderness. This system functioned flawlessly. Although the water in those lakes is some of the cleanest in the US, we filtered 4 days worth through this filter. Odorless, colorless, and tasteless. This system works absolutely flawless. Don't look anywhere else. This is what you want. (Can see it hanging from the tree in the left of the picture). Probably ran 10 bags of a gallon and a half each through it. It's almost weightless to carry, water quality is 100%, and it's about as easy to use as they get. Zero flaws.

Make sure to test ahead of time!
I bought this for a 6-day backpacking trip through Yosemite. It worked well and filled all four of our water bottles the entire time. It was easy to use, didn’t take too long & was lightweight for traveling. I also really loved the extra pouch that came with it because I was able to clip it on the outside as “just incase” water. However, I had to order this product twice because the first time I ordered it - the seal wasn’t secure and it leaked. i’m really glad I tested it out before hand. Second, the extra water pouch it comes with did rip right where it attached to the clip and ripped the whole bag making it useless. I would recommend this product but handle with care and make sure it’s properly functioning before taking it out.

Great water filter.
This is a high quality easy to use water filter. No pumping, just fill and use gravity to filter water. When empty it’s pretty small and packable. When full it holds a good amount of water but is still easy to hang on a branch or hook. There are no stinky plastic smells when you open the lid on the bladder. Good to have and decent price.

Great filter for great price
It drives me nuts when these filters are three times as expensive since you are really just paying for the filter. I was apprehensive because I hadn’t heard of this brand and it was so reasonably priced. After 4 days in the backcountry, I was thrilled with how well it did. My only minor quibble is that is would be way easier to have a quick connect between the hose and the filter. Pulling that off and on was a hassle. Other than that, it was flawless. And worth mentioning, the customer service is outstanding! I lost the hose and sent customer service and email to see if they sell replacements. They immediately got back to me and sent one out free of charge. Very happy customer here!

Peace of mind
Works great for travel to countries where water quality is questionable. No need to purchase water.
