YAESU SSM-17A SSM17A Original Speaker Microphone - Replaces MH-34B4B

Smaller than expected, and that's okay because it does what it needs to and it stays out of the way. No complains about audio quality and the speaker gets quite loud. It allows me to keep the HT in a cup holder when driving. Highly recommend for amateur radio nomads or amateurs using rental cars. Packs up nicely when not in use.

It’s a great little speaker/mic. I had one years ago that I couldn’t locate, so I bought a new one. When it comes to amateur radio, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with Yaesu

works as it should orderd a knock off it arrived broke sent it back another one arrived it also came broke so i orderd a yaesu ssm-17 came in doubled boxed and in a card board paper bag fantastic works great.

Nice, Light, Works perfectly well with the FT 60 HT! So far it is a hit with my HT!

At first I was leary of ordering as the price was less expensive than purchasing at the "amateur radio stores" online. I didn't want a knock-off that was inferior. This was the real legit product with the correct packaging and quality as my original that needed replacement. Works great!

I have a Yaesu HT3D and yes, the sound quality is not up to par with the rest of the radio. I bought this for two reasons: 1. Sound improvement 2. to move the radio a bit further away from my head when transmitting. It serves both purposes well. Especially the sound. Sad that I had to spend more money to improve the sound on such a great radio but it is what it is. I would buy the radio again. I would but this mic again too. It is probably a bit over priced but if you choose to buy "OME", you just have to pay a bit more. Your choice but I do like this one a lot and I'm glad that I found it.

Very pleased with the mic that leaves my hand free while doing mobile comms, usually while hiking or off-road. Attached well to pack or appropriate clothing. Covered it while not in use during periods of rain but was not affected when using it during inclement weather or on the water. Picks up ambient noises but does not distract an exchange.

受信側も問題ないみたいです。無難です。やはり純正が一番良い^^

スピーカーから出る音はちょっと高音が強めです。自分の音声は吸い込みが良く相手に快適に聞こえてるそうです。
