It's definitely constructed like a vintage Kepi
This is a vintage style kepi that's made of cotton. Most kepis these days are made of a sweat wicking synthetic material rather than cotton. As a result, this kepi will hold more sweat, and stain easier. However, if you're looking for a VINTAGE look, this is what you'll get. It's probably more suited to "looking" the part of a vintage rider than acting like a modern rider. But that's also why I bought it.I wear it in the shop when wrenching on my bikes. For that, it's perfect and fits exactly as expected.

Obvious Quality
I purchased this cap for a reason other than for wearing under a bicycle helmet, etc. My purpose was simply to keep my head (therefore my entire body) warm during the Ohio Winters in my home. Being somewhat elderly now (77), I have living with me my Single-Mom Daughter (a nurse) and her two girls, 21 & 15. We all like to have our living environment kept cool (many would say "cold") as opposed to warm so inevitably we keep the air conditioner set on 68 degrees during the hot, humid summer season, and 65-66 degrees in the Winter. I believe it to be much more healthy living in a cooler environment than one that is too warm.Well, I have no problem keeping enough clothes on my body no matter what season it is. Spring and Summer I wear basketball-type shorts and a cotton long-sleeved shirt indoors until/unless I go outside, then it's easy to ditch the top and exchange for either a sleeveless shirt or a regular T-shirt. Fall and Winter season I wear regular "Russell-brand" Sweatshirts and Pants; always with a pair of nice heavy cotton or wool socks (we never wear our outside shoes in our home; no matter the season). As is true with most humans (I presume) body heat escapes the body through the top of our head, leaving an uncomfortable coolness throughout the rest of our body. So, I'm thinking that in order to keep a nice, comfortable, pleasant temperature throughout the seasons and throughout my body I'll just "close the escape hatch" (my head!), and voila' a solution! It works wonders in keeping my comfort level just right no matter what time of year, and it's very easy to ditch the outside layer (or add to it if Winter) when I go outside!A second bonus, of course, is that if you already happen to be an avid Cyclist you'll already have the under-helmet cap at the ready! And this cap is easily washed and dried and kept ready to use. I have three that I interchange throughout the week. Thanks for reading my review, even if you believe me to be eccentric for my views! This cap works!D.O'D. ><>

Perfect
Perfect cycling cap to keep sweat off my face, and my head warm on colder days. I have a Colnago bike, so this even matches my bike! Fits well, good quality. I'd buy it again but I have a feeling this one will last me for a number of years.

Not for big heads
These suckers are so small. Big head people don’t waste your time.

perfect classic cycling cap
These old style cotton cycling caps are worth their weight in gold if you ride a rode. The visors are short so they won't affect your vision, and material absorbs sweat and evaporates it off with a cooling effect on hot days. They look goofy especially if you flip the visor up but that enhances the cooling effect and improves vision. I don't wear a helmet but if you do you can wear these under the helmet.
