What fantastic timing, I had just been remarking that summer is finally on its way. I have lupus and light photosensitivity, if I get too much sun my skin goes horribly red with an itchy rash, and I feel quite ill. I need factor 50 protection as anything less still allows me to be affected, which just goes to show that you're not protected with factor 30 etc. I tried this at the weekend when we surprisingly had a nice day in-between the not so nice ones. I found the spray pattern good and absorbent say excellent without being greasy. The smell was very pleasant. Most importantly, I had no effects of the sun, no reason itchy bumps on my arms, and no malar rash. I can safely say this works very well. Up it doesn't just protect me from the sun I also leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft. Why what is dearer than my regular brand, it is better and goes further because of the spray pattern giving such a fine mist. Got a great weather forecast for the next week so good timing.

I got this product to use over the hot summer in the garden or while abroad(if we are allowed to).It has a light scent and the texture is smooth.It is easy to apply and absorbs quickly, not sticky at all. Also leaves no yellow marks on light coloured clothing. It's very light and non - greasy.My daughter and I both have sensitive fair skin and we burn easily so hopefully, this will work for us in the summer when we can test it properly.It is refreshing to put on. It claims that you need to apply it only once as you are protected for up to 12h but for me is a little bit hard to believe, so I definitely will be applying it more than once for peace of mind.It is unscented, which is great for sensitive skin. I highly recommend this product.

Other family members have this sunscreen in SPF30 but as I only have two skin tones - ghost or lobster - it’s Factor 50 for me all the way! They have been super pleased with it so I had a pretty good idea I would like it too.The fact that it is a fine mist rather than a heavy cream is a big bonus for me. I used to be outside just longing to get home and shower off the liquid chalk that was suffocating my body - ok I am overdramatising but you get the picture! You definitely do not get that feeling with this mist as it is so light you just forget you are wearing it. You apply the mist 15 minutes before you go out in the sun and it is claimed to give up to 12 hours protection but I must admit I do tend to top up throughout the day but that’s just personal preference.Protecting your skin in the sun is such an important thing to do and I would never buy super cheap sunscreen from an unknown brand as I would be worried as to whether they had undergone all the tests required to make sure you are genuinely safe. That being said, I do not believe in paying an extortionate price either. This sunscreen is at the top end of my budget but I do believe that there are a lot of good things about it that make it worth paying a bit extra.

As a very fair skinned redhead myself, I am often trying to find a suncream which offers high protection but also caters for my sensitive skin. The problem with a lot of brands is I often find the solution in creams produced for children. Dr Russo, however, offers an alternative which removes the streaky and washed out appearance of many sun creams. This spray is light but goes a very long way and blends wonderfully into the skin. It remains slightly greasy but for me this is always unavoidable due to the amount needed to appropriately protect my skin. I was also impressed with its promise of only needing to apply once a day (as long as you apply enough and reapply after going in water). Unless you are in the noon sun, I think this definitely works. As always, sun cream works alongside you also heeding guidance around sun exposure in general.Good value for money and so far, works a dream on my skin!

I'm of Irish-Scottish extraction so my natural skin colour is pretty much pale grey. As such, I need to be very careful in the sun. My skin is sensitive as well, so although I need to be careful of the sun, I also have to be careful of the sunscreen. This protective mist is really lovely; it provides excellent protection from sun-damage, it feels light on the skin, it's not thick and claggy like a lot of creams, and it smells pretty good. Although it's fairly pricey, I think it's an instance of 'you get what you pay for'. This is a great sunscreen and it's important to be careful in the summertime, not just because of disease but also the risk of ageing like an old suitcase.
