Packed with benefits, this once a day SPF30 sunscreen is far from average...
If you think this sunscreen is expensive, don't pass on before considering its many plus points. The greatest of which is that Dr Russo gives SPF30 broad spectrum protection - from UVA and UVB rays - for 12 hours, maintaining it even if you go into water for 80 minutes. Only recently I reviewed an SPF30 spray sunscreen that was less than half the price of this - but required re-applying every 2 hours or more in the case of going in water or even sweating. This 150ml Dr Russo spray is likely to last much longer given it's a 'once a day' application. But the good points don't end there. When I ordered this product I didn't realise it also contains a tan accelerator - so not only can you be safe in the sun and protect yourself from sun damage, you get a tan more quickly too. Dermatologically tested, Dr Russo vitamin E antioxidant complex, hyaluronic acid and ferulic acid. It's moisturising - and feels like it is.I'd not heard of Dr Russo before - I googled him to find he's a Harley Street cosmetic surgery specialist. I would imagine that he often sees the evidence of sun damage and its ageing effects. It is true that we can't do without vitamin D from sunlight - but over exposure to the skin is something we should be doing without.Dr Russo's Once A Day Invisible Mist Sun Protection is a sunscreen that has all you need - and more. It smells attractive and the clear mist feels lightweight on the skin. As with many sunscreens, take care to avoid spraying it on fabrics. Made in Italy, this is a good value product that inspires real confidence and comes with a host of benefits. I shall re-purchase and would very much recommend it.

Quality Sunscreen Mist
I am a factor 50 girl, the rest of the family are not so pale (and interesting!) so they can get away with SPF30, so this one is for them. None of us like the horrible greasy feel that you get with some sunscreens, so a product that is a sun protection mist is a good choice. This does seem like a quality product and it would appear the company has gone a long way to ensure that you get the best protection whilst in the sun. You apply this 15 minutes before going out in the sun and you should be protected for up to 12 hours. Obviously if you go swimming, (or get caught in a rain shower!) you need to reapply. I must admit we always reapply sunscreen quite frequently, as it’s better safe than sorry. The fine mist that you get from this product is really good and it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy and you just spray it, wait for the 15 minutes and you are good to go and a bonus is there is no horrible smell so you can just forget you’re wearing it. It is definitely not a cheap sunscreen but when you read all the different benefits of it it is definitely a good one. It is so important to be protected from the sun, even in the unpredictable English summer, so it is worth researching which sun protection is right and this one certainly ticks a lot of boxes.

Not good for sensitive skin.
This product is not for me. When it arrived the first thing I noticed about it was the very strong alcohol smell. It is knock-your-socks of strong. And when I looked at the ingredients, it was the first thing listed. This is far, far to drying for me, and I think not good at all for sensitive skin.

Stinks
This arrived today. Sunny day so applied. Goes on as a fine mist but utterly stinks. Skin smells afterwards. Dries quickly...maybe owing to high alcohol content? Invisible. Seemed to protect skin for the duration of the afternoon but not in any way, shape or form will I be swapping this for my coconut/Malibu scented Hawaiian Tropic.

Pros and two big cons
I had very high hopes for this, and although there are some great benefits, there are also a fair few cons and for that reason I have deducted two stars.PROS:- The great design means applying this SPF is super simple: it’s very easy to spray and disperse the product into, to then apply to all areas, even trickier areas, and then rub in.- This is a gel-like formula and although it does add a minimal shine to skin, your skin doesn’t feel saturated after using, even after the two layers I apply.- This works very well as SPF and does protect your skin very well. I am not sure whether I would risk not reapplying it all day, especially during very hot days, but you can certainly tell this is on the skin and remains so for a long time, due to the glow it leaves.- This doesn’t dry out my skin, which is combination (and see point below about the alcohol content which did make me think it would) but also doesn’t add huge amounts of moisture: this is perhaps best for those with normal skin, or combination skin that have already treated concerns through their skincare routine and want nothing extra from their SPF, just the protection (and I mean that in a good way, I hate having to feel greasy adding SPF on top of my serums and moisturiser).- I really like the packaging: it’s slim and easy to take with you anywhere. Plus it looks great.CONS:- Easily the worst thing about this is the high alcohol content which is very obvious through the smell; so strong that it brings tears to my eyes each time I use it. There is no way that I can use this anywhere near my eyes (and trust me I tried but my eyes stung and watered horrendously) which for an SPF is frustrating (and somewhat worrying). Certainly I would not recommend this for those with sensitive skin or any major skin concerns.- The price is high and had it not been for the above point I perhaps would have said ‘you get what you pay for’ or ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ but as I can’t use this on sensitive skin I actually would need to use two different SPFs so... Not worth it for me.

Good protection and hardly noticeable on my skin
Since summer is looming, It's time to take out the SPF to protect me especially when i'm riding my bike for a long time in the heat. Usually i buy the highest factor, But they tend to be a bit creamy and white on my skin with an unpleasant stickiness. This clear spray sunscreen does a good job of stopping any UVC light burning my skin and i hardly notice it's there. It coats my skin in a thin layer and pretty much does its own thing without needing a touch up for about 12 hours. The only issue is that it can't be directly sprayed onto the face, So i sprayed it into my hands and applied it onto my face, Being careful around the eye area.
