Really cool solution. I have a drill and sawzall that used the older style batteries that I hadn't been able to use for the past 5 years because I wasn't willing to spend money on replacement batteries. Luckily I held on to the tools even though I had purchased new models. I was eager to try this and it was really cool hearing the tools roar back to life using the newer generation batteries with this adapter!

Great invention for older tools that are still usable.

New V18 battery is at least $140 if you can find them, Knock off batteries are less, but this adapter saved me from trashing my quality useable V18 tools. I bought this adapter and a M18 battery and am back in business. now, saying that i do have to say it makes the tool a little more bulky and the V18 charger DID NOT work with the adapter and M18 battery, which i found odd. Ive heard some folks say that it did work, but did not on mine. Luckily i bought a charger off marketplace for 25 dollars. So i spent 60 dollars on a battery, adapter, used charger... that was better than $400 on a new M18 set of tools....

I was ready to get rid of some outdated milwaukee tools because of the old battery style till I found this adapter for m18. tools are useful now. great idea thats easy go use

Well made and very handing if you have multiple generations of tools around.

I have an older Sawzall that uses the old power plus style batteries. Those batteries never last long, especially with the Sawzall. This little gem just breathed new life in an old tool. It works perfectly. It does add some bulk to the battery, but surprisingly it doesnt add much weight. Using my newer 18v batteries gives my tool amazing battery life!!
