This is the best, most reliable, home blender. In twenty years. This is my second and it never fails to impress. Soups, smoothies, icy drinks perfectly in a snap.

I've wanted a Vitamix for years, and finally, I got a job that allowed me to splurge. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be a real disappointment.I spent over $450 on both the blender and the 'to-go' cup package less than three months ago, but I've already had to submit two RMAs; one for the blender (started leaking, squeaked loudly [and still does, even after service]) and one for the cups (one has warped after only five trips in the dishwasher, top rack).Customer service is top-notch, and it really is a powerful blender, but none of that matters if I can't use my appliance. I had my Ninja for over eight years, and nothing went wrong. I got rid of it because I thought my Vitamix would render it useless, but that hasn't been the case. I wish I could return it and just get a new Ninja or InstantPot blender.My partner warned me that the cult of the Vitamix might just be a bunch of yuppies justifying their very expensive purchases, but I didn't believe her. I wish I had.
