Gelish Harmony Sea Passage Kayak Paddle with 2 Piece Fiberglass Shaft

I bought a Sea Passage Paddle about 10 years ago-love it-it is still my favorite paddle but I ruined the shaft by leaning the middle part of the paddle against a large rock when I got out of the water..............after years of doing that, I roughed up the middle of the paddle, which I tend to hold up to my face when resting or just gazing out at something while kayaking....that's why I bought the new one as I got tired or irritating my face with the roughed up fiberglass...anyway-love this new one-the colour is great and of course the paddle is very light, which is why it is worth spending the money on a fiberglass paddle. It might be my imagination but I think the circumference of the shaft is 1 inch and my last paddle seems to be just a tad smaller.
