Now with a Standard Air Hose Fitting!
Previous reviews have faulted this product for the crap hose, the crap screw-on fitting and the weird hose fitting that made it hard to use a regular air hose if you wanted. The hose is still crap. The screw-on valve is still crap, totally unusable. But!!! The unit I received about March 2015 had a standard air hose fitting and I was able to get a standard air hose and hook it right up no problem. I have used this compressor to air the shocks in my camper and add air to a flat quad tire. It works great! It can deliver high pressures (>70 pounds) with no trouble at all. The CMF is over rated but not by much. It will fill your tire quickly. A very nice air compressor. Too bad they still ship it with a crap hose but at least now it's easy to replace that crap hose with something better.

Master Flow MF-1050 Tsunami Portable Air Compressor
This pump is fast and awesome. It dosn't vibrate at all, and is pretty Quiet too. The curled hose is perfect length to reach my tires while the big clamps are on the truck battery. Everything fits in the case that comes with it and has room to add liitle nick nacks if you choose to. I added extra fuses just in case and a little blower nosel to help clean things on the trail. The air filter is kind of flimsy and must be taken off after every use or it will get distroyed in the bag. I do alot of back woods trips, himing, backpacking ect. This is way better than the ones that you get at auto parts stores or in road side kits that take 20 min to pump up a tire. I have 285's on my truck and it air them up literally from 22lbs to 40lbs in just under a minute. I am highly impressed with the portable air compressor. It is the best one I have owned by far. The only down fall I can see so far from this product is I wished the wire leads to the battery were a heavier guage and the air filter was a little sturdier. If they did that I would honestly give it a 10 Star ratting, but I will give it a honest 4 3/4 star as my opinion for the price and quality as I recieved it out of the box.

Great value, even better slightly modified!
Love this little compressor. I did a lot of research when deciding what pump I wanted to buy, and I am glad I bought this one. It is an excellent value, even before the modifications I did to it. I have it permanently installed in my truck to air my tires back up after I lower the PSI off road. It takes about 5 min to air my 31x10.5-15 tires back up from 15psi to 35psi. It does a great job airing up the tires on my trailer and full size truck that are 60-80psi as well. Like I mentioned, I modified this compressor a few ways, as seen on a lot of reviews on different off road websites. I removed the relay, and added thicker 10awg wire directly to the motor to help it get the amperage it needs without risk of burning up the wires for long use. I then installed a 40A breaker instead of a fuse, so I am able to reset it if I trip it, and wired it to a switch with a relay on the dash of my truck. On the top end, I removed the gauge, and drilled/tapped/installed a standard 1/4 npt female air fitting, removed the handle, and drilled/tapped/installed a 1/4 npt male air fitting instead of the stock one. I also opened the top end and cleaned all the factory oil out from the inside and used a high end synthetic compressor oil to re-lube it up. It runs better, cooler, smoother and faster now with these few things done, and I am extremely happy with it. So happy that I plan on buying a second one to install in my fullsize truck as well.

Great Little Compressor
This unit is, as other reviews have stated, built like a rock! However, it is also as other reviews have stated, having a pretty cheesey air delivery hose! One of those coiled up plastic items, available at "Wally World". So I replaced it with a standard 25' air hose with standard couplers, for a shop type compressor, and a tire chuck (Tire Chuck with Lock-On Lever, Item# 68267 at Harbor Freight)(also at WalMart) that locks onto the tire valve stem. I did however, disassemble the air chuck and defeat the total air shut-off feature when it is disconnected from a tire valve stem. This was done by removing the check valve and grinding down 2 sides of it and then reassembing the chuck. This allows air to continually pass thru the chuck while still allowing it to open the tire valve stem's check valve. By doing this it eliminates a problem of not allowing pressure to build-up when air hose is not connected to anything, thereby preventing compressor damage. As an extra benefit it eliminates any problems with not having enough power cord to reach tires on long vehicles, such as RVs, SUVs and Crew Cab pickups with full-size beds. I purchased this item due to the reviews stating on how well a built unit it was and its air delivery/pressure capabilities. It has met my requirements and therefore performance wise it deserves a 5 rating, but due to it's poor quality air delievery hose I must give it and overall 4. The total purchase experience was highly satisfactory, with delivery within the estimated time frame and as usual, ease of comletion at a fair price thru Amazon.com.

Better than a Smittybilt!
Works better than a Smittybilt! Jk I haven't tried a Smitty but it works fast and doesn't get as hot as I thought it would. Takes me 20 minutes to full out four tires from 25psi to 35psi. About 5 minutes or less each. Only complaint is that the compressor has a male connector for the hose and my home compressor has a female. So my equipment isn't really interchangeable. You can definitely change it, but why bother. Another complaint is that the filter is very cheap and feels like it'll break easily. Other than that... best compressor I've ever used for airing down and up after off roading!

The Best!!!
I have owned many 12v compressors over the years but after spending 30 min airing up a tire with a cheap one I decided to look for a better unit. This unit will air up a totally flat large ATV truck tire on my 3/4 ton yukon in 3 min. It will air up to perfect pressure a 15 inch trailer tire in 1 min! Living 30 miles from town on a farm I find myself using it often instead of dragging a large 110v compressor around. Its well made and you can't go wrong for the price, I'm well pleased. It's an honest 4 1/2 star. The cons would be.... the air filter is not the same quality construction as the rest of the pump. Secondly the air hose is non standard so my have to change in the future, this could be done with some fuel line adapters fairly easy. Still a great product.

Inflates Quickly!
I use this tire inflator to reinflate my tires on my RAM 1500 4x4 after I have had a day running on a sandy beach. You can not run a truck on a beach without deflating your tires to between 15 and 19 psi and you can not run on a road again without inflating the tires back to 43 psi. I use 2 inflators. One for the Right side and one for the Left side tires. This gets the job done in half the time and gives me a spare in case of a failure, which has not happened yet. There is no auto shut off so you you need to monitor the pressure, which is not a problem. I take care on one side and my wife takes care of the other.

Overheats & blows fuses
Master's Flow MF-1050 Tsunami portable air compressor purchased January 19, 2019 through Amazon. This product appears to be an excellent condition. When I use it it blows fuses every time I move to a different tire. In less than 4 minutes of runtime it gets hot and does not shut itself down. I'd like a refund of $54.12 or a replacement with a better quality one. Great product, and no, it doesn't get hotter than any other similar pump.
Used this a couple times now, so figured I can comment. Mixed reviews out there on this, some saying it gets too hot, some saying not. News flash, ALL of these types of air compressors get hot, as does this, but nothing out of the ordinary, and I believe this one, compared to other ones I have used, does not heat up as much. I'm using it for 37s, airing down to 8 psi, and then back up to 27 psi. Didn't time it, but seemed a decent speed. Gives me enough time to deal with other things like reconnecting sway bars and putting little things away for each tire. Gauge, as with most, isn't accurate, and I use another one for checking the psi. I air up a little more than I have to and drop it back down with my deflator. Bag is a nice touch, zippers could be stronger, but treat it easy, and it will last. Was going to spend big $ for a complete Viair system, but thought - why spend a lot on something that may be on board, may air up slightly faster, and will be another pain to install, when I can just buy a cheaper option like this, and put that money elsewhere. The less crap hooked up to the vehicle the better too, without the LED lighting and other accessories, and I can now take this in my other vehicle in the winter for emergency use as well. EDIT Dec 2019 - I've used this compressor now for 3 years, and I do a lot of rock crawling, and constant back and forth from 25-27 to 7-9 PSI. This compressor has never let me down, dead of summer or -20c in winter. I find with people with expensive on board air I am not far behind being aired up from when they are, and others with even more expensive portable compressors are not as quick as mine. The bag, I recall, had complaints from people, but using mine constantly from May until Nov each year has had no rip or issue with the zipper. The only problem I have is that the fuse and wire out each end is getting hot, so I suspect the fuse holder isn't beef enough for the current, which I'll swap out sometime soon with a cheap upgrade. All in all still a great and tough little tool.

Recomendado 100%
Iba a comprar el 1040 pero me gusta 4x4 y este es extremadamente uso rudo, si quieres salir rápido de apuros y genial, me da miedo usarlo mientras llueve porque va conectado a la pila pero es genial

Excellent
Inflates tires so much quicker than store bought cigarette lighter powered ones. Hose is just long enough to reach rear tires on my extended cab long box truck. Highly recommend it. Storage bag is a little chincy/cheap, but better than no bag at all. I also think the screw in air filter will break after one awkward bump.
