A great look at where Malcolm was headed
The Final Speeches represents yet another look at Malcolm's ideas and values through interviews and speeches he gives during the last month of his life. A particularly funny moment happens during a radio debate where Malcolm verbally destroys an obnoxious "expert" on extremist organizations. The reader will get to see how Malcolm comes to terms with the mistakes that he made while still in the Nation of Islam. The reader will also get an idea on the direction that Malcolm was heading in, the Pan-Africanist approach that sought to unite Afro-Americans with Africans to forge an unbreakable alliance against, racism, imperialism and colonialism. This is definitely a great read and a lot of the material here is still relevant today. A very good example being Malcolm's exposing how the press manipulates the public with false imagery. Malcolm was pretty much predicting many of the false political networks of today, like Fox News. One of the best qualities about Malcolm X was that he was a great thinker, and this is why I find him so admirable and why I love reading about him.

Malcolm X was the Greatest “Humanitarian” of All Time
Malcom X was a Renaissance Man; An just a down right “Genius”..it’s just ashame that of course once a “BLACK MAN” assume so much power; he has to go. Just sad that he couldn’t continue on his quest of Continuous of changing Humanity.

Great book on who Malcolm X is and his thoughts
This book is badly needed for people who are still stuck on the NOI days of malcolm. In 1964 on, he became a true sunni muslim and activist for the human rights of African Americans in the USA and the struggle for human rights abroad. This book surveys his last speeches and interviews in 1965. You will know who he evolved into and why we muslims call him the Shahid al Amrika the American Muslim Martyr.
