Tweezers: Lower quality indicative of mass produced low cost item. As this is basically thrown in free with the set I didn't mark the tool kit down for this. They still work and are long which is nice since all my nice tweezers are shorter.Branch Cutter: Good quality tool. Exactly what you might expect. The only issue I had was the edge on one of the two jaws was slightly chipped after first use cut test on a bamboo branch. I promptly sharpened it and the tool still works properly.Knob Cutter: Good quality tool. Exactly what you might expect. Cut well during first use cut test on a bamboo branch.The mechanics of the joints are smooth and precise allowing the jaws to line up properly. Overall I would say the edge retention could be better but these tools are a great value for the price. Tian Bonsai has a higher tier tool series called Master Craftsman Series which has higher hardness of tool steel. I am looking forward to testing these out when they are offered for sale.Fantastic customer service. If you have any questions they answer in a timely fashion. They are polite and expeditious in handling any issues. I highly recommend this brand.

Everything about these tools are great. Very sharp, very sturdy, and nice looking and not cheaply made at all.Paul is one of the best customer service folks around! He will go WAY out of his way to be sure you are VERY happy!I will be buying all my tools from Paul from this point forward......

There are probably a zillion different brands/types/styles of bonsai tools, but this is a very pragmatic, effective, and relatively inexpensive combination which I immediately used in the pruning and trimming of my Japanese Maple arboretum. I good investment.

solid quality,worth the price compared to the other 5-10+ tool kits; blade/edges actually sharp, not a waste of money by getting 'economy/starter kits' these can be used for other related purposes, not 'junk tools'

The last tools I bought were garbage! So I wasn't expecting much... But these tools are amazing! very smooth action. Very sharp blades. Blades align perfectly. More good words!
