Love this book weight

Nice weight good looking leather and suede. Holds books well

Very inexpensive and still not worth the money. Plastic, not leather and very lightweight. It is not heavy enough to hold open the pages of the books I tried. It looks like other similar book weights, I own several, but cannot do the job of holding my books open.

I LOVE this bookmark! I had seen a similar one many years ago and thought it was a slick idea. In retirement I have become a book author...and that means I read voraciously. I found this product by doing a Google search. There were a few different offerings, but this one attracted my attention because it is made of sturdy brown leather and is stitched. Using it I can read while eating, because the bookmark holds the book open on the table.I liked it so well that I ordered a second one for a book-loving friend and had it shipped directly to him. When he opened the package he at first thought I had sent him a blackjack. :-) I thought, “Hmmm...good idea!”Get one!

Some research books and commentaries are very large and the pages don't want to stay in place while reading. The craftmanship of this beautiful leather book weight is superb, as we now have 3 of these book weights. My husband uses them on a regular basis and they perform exactly as designed. The leather is soft and does no damage to the delicate pages being read.

Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. It holds books open. I have used it with large and small books, as well as both soft and hard covers, and while it struggles with the very beginning/ending of some books, and doesn't work as well on those with stiffer bindings, it generally works exactly as intended, and it would take a much larger weight to hold those books down anyways and it would probably damage smaller books if that were the case.

Good-looking and very, *very* helpful when you’re trying to read a book and your hands are busy. It’s floppy between the two weighted ends, so it handles much better on uneven piles of pages than the rubbery ones. I did expect it to be a “gold-ish” color but it’s a light brown leather. Well worth the money - I may end up getting a second one for work.

Liked material, color & shape, but needs to be slightly heavier on the ends to keep the book pages down. Delivery takes weeks.
