Wore these for the first time on quite a long walk and found them to be very comfortable, they didn’t rub my heal or toes which is a big plus for me. Yet to wear them in the rain to see if they are waterproof as advertised but seem a very good walking shoe.

I'm a size 4 and usually only need to go up half a size in hiking boots but unfortunately I still found these a bit on the small side after wearing them 3 times which gave me blisters... Too late to exchange now but I've used a shoe stretcher which has done the trick for now but I'm not sure how long these may last

These are a light and comfortable walking boot from Adidas Terrex. If you're a newcomer to hiking then get one size up than your normal shoes. I'm usually a ladies size 8 or 42 in high street shoes and even a 7 in open toe sandals but I got a size 9 in these which fits very nicely and allows for a cushioned walking sock for extra comfort. The product itself is fantastic and was even better than the traditional top brand walking boots in terms of comfort and fit, however, just watch out when ordering through Prime as it's not all Amazon. I was really quite frustrated that I had to pay £11 to return the size 8.5 to SportsShoes Unlimited. My own fault as I assumed it was the same as the size 9 I ordered which came direct from Amazon. I will look more carefully in future to ensure any size I select is from Amazon and says FREE RETURNS. I won’t be risking this again as this is the problem with ordering online. You can’t see or feel how things fit before buying. That said Amazon prices fluctuate wildly and also vary across sizes so shop around!

100% waterproof, nice grippy tread, and holds up nice to hiking/cross country with the dog. I do not like hiking boots so these are the next best thing. I do prefer my salomon speedcross gtx for trail running though, as those are lighter and more cushioned in the sole.

Great fit, light weight, durable but sturdy too. bought size 6, normal a 5.5. Good amount of space for the foot (and walking sock) some shoes and boots seem to be quite shallow nowadays, but not these. I'd definitely recommend.

Had to send these back. I don’t have a wide foot and had bought a size bigger but they were too narrow. Looked nice though so a shame.

Been buying Adidas Terrex range for years, always a good fit, quality shoe, totally waterproof and they clean up as good as new after being drenched in mud and water. I've owned several more expensive boots and shoes in the past, they're not a patch on the Terrex range for fit, comfort and waterproofing! I use them for light walking, hiking, fields and woods, snow and ice, whatever the weather they perform brilliantly

Reading previous reviews I ordered half a size bigger and they fitted perfectly with thick walking socks. I wore them straight away for two days hiking in the Lake District. They were very comfortable throughout and my feet remained dry despite heavy rain and waterlogged conditions. Very happy.

these are really great very sturdy feeling , not the as comfortable as their brother the ax2 but better grip on the soles, and still fairly comfortable , more sturdy , they have a hard shell type material , where as the ax 2 is much more pliablethe gortex is noticeably warm , haven't been in wet or rain yet . they are just slightly looser then the ax2 fit , a bit stiffer in the upper , but over all very similarthe elastic tag that keeps the speed laces in place is nice and should be on every pair of shoe in modern times . or a lace locker like the solomon has .over all great you will love them for hiking , if you want a little more casual shoe and want to save some money the ax2 will do you great , if you want something a little more sturdy and warm with the gortex go with the r2i get the sense that adidas stooped making the r2 and the ax2 versions , and i like them more then the newer versions so i will probably stock up on both .
