Hunter Dublin Low Profile Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control, 44", Indigo Blue

We replaced an old ceiling fan with this one. It is really sturdy, very nice to look at, and the remote is great liked it so much I bought another!

I don't know that these sorts of things are ever all that easy to install, but it's perfect for my room. I definitely want to get it in the other two color options for the other two bedrooms. It's almost silent and extremely functional for being as small as it is!

On initial install, the light was dim as others mention in the review. We put an extra lamp in the room. Then came the light flickering and then after a guest stay (fan is in the guest room) the light became super dim (couldn’t even tell it was on during the day). I tore the thing apart and couldn’t find the issue.Then a web search turned up that the remote apparently has a dimming function. With just fan speed, fan and light on/off buttons, I had no idea.If you’re experiencing similar issues, you might need to deactivate the dimming control on the remote. Here’s what worked for me - hold down the FAN OFF button, and as you’re holding that button down, quickly press the LIGHT ON/OFF button twice. The first time I did this, it didn’t seem to work, but I quickly tried it again and was successful.Now I’m quite happy with the fan. It was the easiest one I’ve ever installed (and I basically did it twice because of this issue). It’s fairly quiet. And now since I deactivated the dimming function on the remote the light is way brighter and we don’t need the extra light in the room we put in after the initial install.

I love the color of this fan. Several websites were sold out. I am glad I found it on Amazon. I wanted it for my home gym. I don’t like the quality of the remote control. The plastic looks cheap. I do like the look of the fan.

It is quiet as long as the fan is not on high. To dim the light is not easy, you can’t easily just brighten or lower it, you have to dim completely before it’ll start getting brighter, then you have to brighten completely before it’ll start dimming again. Also, the motor went bad within 6 months to the point where the unit won’t stay on and keeps flickering.

This fan was to small for the new area. I ordered a larger one and would like to return this one. Would it be possible. The contractor said I needed the larger size for the area

I bought two fans—one blue, one green for my boys’ rooms. We already had a hunter fan in our room and it runs perfectly. These two fans are garbage. Both have a manufacturing defect which causes the motor housing to wobble tremendously at speed 3. Balancing won’t fix it. They are also very loud. The remote doesn’t consistently work. The install wasn’t too bad, but the fan quality is unbelievably bad.

2024: Reducing from 4 to 3 stars. Light is dim even at highest setting.2023: The fan is the size I needed and is very quiet on the lowest setting. The remote controls the light and the fan speed and works well. However you can no longer use the wall switch for light. If it mentioned that in the description I missed it. It comes with a way to put the remote’s wall holder over the light switch. Wish Hunter included a second remote.Tried a third-party remote to use as a spare but it didn’t work. A Hunter remote to purchase is quite expensive so don’t lose or damage the small remote that came with the fan.
