Scholastic I Spy Fantasy [Old Version]

My 5 year old loves the I Spy games, although to be honest, the "Ages 6-10" makes them a tad beyond him. Pros: Lots of variation... underseas, outer space, knights in shining armor; educational: no settings (at least that I've seen) for a little one to mess up; actually works with Windows 7. Cons: Low res game, and no settings means you can't set it to letterbox, so everything is stretched on a wide screen monitor; in-game animations are a little "sprite like", even with a fast system (but consider the target audience...).These aren't games, they're puzzles. Therefore there's no scoring or competition.

I had this game in 2008 and my students loved it. However, it did not work in my 6 year old Macbook Pro. I dug out an old Dell and it still doesn't run well. I dont understand why they cant make an updated version of the I Spy games for newer computers

Eh it was okay. I'll save it for my nephew, he'll probably like it.

I guess I expected a book.

Great kids' game. This was a version that had been installed on Mac-Minis at our local library and the kids loved playing it. They love it just as much at home. Playing through multiple times gives different levels of difficulty, with new/different objects to find.

My daughter had this game a while back, but then we got a new computer. She wanted to play it again. It is the game she remembers. She loves playing it. The product arrived as described and on time.

My son loves the I Spy games and we play as a family, he can play alone, or with a friend. The game is very educational as he practices reading, concentration, problem solving and English vocabulary which is important for us as we have a bilingual household.
