amazing and easy to follow
This book is a great for serious japanese learners. I fell in love with this book while browsing a local Japanese bookstore in my hometown BUT the price at the bookstore was ASTRONOMICAL. I know in the bookstore I was paying for convenience and location but it was too much so, I decided to look for it on Amazon and found it at an amazing price using the "used-like new" option. As you can see in the picture the book came sealed in a plastic packaging and it literally felt like new. The book is very easy to follow along with and the whole book has explanations in both Japanese and English. I am so happy with my purchase. : )

Good quality, 1000 kanji with words that contain the kanji character
Amazing book! First off the book design is so neat and nice to look at while studying. There are 1000 kanji ranging from N5-N2. The book also provides some words that contain the given kanji. There is also a place to practice writing the Kanji and stroke order. Practice questions and answers as well

A very good value for 1000 kanji. Also there's blue.
I love this book. I was worried it would be a bad fit for me because of the focus on pictures. I'm autistic and I have a deep appreciation for written symbols. I do no need extraneous illustrations and context for the kanji. But it doesn't bother me to have it there. I love the book. I find having color on the page helpful and pleasant. The use of blue makes it fun and easy to focus on. I think the book is a very good value for 1000 kanji. The only thing it lacks is practice space. Some kanji entries have many practice spaces and some have just 4. I anticipated this issue and bought a genkouyoushi notebook to accompany it. The introduction appears in both Japanese and English so it's very easy to compare. I do find it hard to write in the blanks close to the binding on the right page, which I think is because I'm left handed.

After you study Kana
Didn't really continue the book when I already knew the first 80 kanji. (My problem though)It is a good study material for people who just leaned Kana. (Hiragana and Katakana)Really nice to see to answer question and fill in blanks while using and reading Japanese.

Very good for Kanji learners
I especially like that the Kanji are laid out sequentially by level, starting with N5. The book itself is a decent size, and the font is easy to read too. Doesn't feel overwhelming when you open the book, unlike other Kanji books where it seems like the goal was to cram as much information on the page as humanly possible. This one is easy on the eyes. Might seem a little elementary or simplistic for some people, depending on your preference, but for me I like that it doesn't feel intimidating.

Good for visual or younger learners
The media could not be loaded. This book is good if you are a visual learner or child-like learning. The book is divided into 5 different sections. JLPT N5, N4, N3 (1), N3 (2), N2 (1), and N2 (2). It does not include N1 Kanji. At the end of each section is a small test. It also includes a reading index in the back.

Wonderful book
The media could not be loaded. Only the first few pages were written in the used book, but that doesn’t bother me since I’m already familiar with the beginner Kanji. The fact this goes all the way to N2 is amazing, since my goal for now is just to go to N3. Highly recommend this book.
