Definitely recommend at least 2 people for assembly. I also suggest giving yourself 2-3 hours minimum with breaks as needed. Instructions have pictures only, no words so take your time and look things over before moving to the next step. Some steps in the beginning and end were simple enough, but some steps in the middle were pretty tough if you want to get them as close to perfect as possible. The finished product is so worth it though. Considering the cost, you get a very unique bed for an awesome price.I cannot wait to present our 2 year old his new big boy bed. He already has a cooler bed than I’ve ever had in my life.

I ordered this bed for my 2 yr old son. He loves airplanes like literally loves them. And way cheapier to get it on Amazon than the company that made it save like 70 bucks ordering here. ALL the parts are nicely categorize with directions. It's just picture directions no text with directions. It's definitely 2 person job not one. Did it by myself and it was a pain to balance the pieces and connecting two huge pieces. Great bed and we'll graphical design for a toddler. My least thing I didn't like was the screws have different color paint on them to match the design on the outside. So make sure you look at that instead being like me and had to rework myself all around the bed and putting the correct color with it. But that's it. GREAT BED FOR A TODDLER THAT LOVES AIRPLANES

Pros: Awesome bed. My son loves it. Seems very sturdy and paint job is great (even on screw-heads). Has storage compartment that fits a bunch of smaller toys. Propeller actually spins (manually) which is cool. Wings can double as small shelves. Relatively easy to assemble.Not-so-Pros: Instructions are all pictures (can be vexing at times). Some of the hardware is bad design. There is a LOT of pieces and a HUGE hardware pack. Takes a few hours to assemble (and a few beers; no beer was included in box; very disappointed in that).

Putting together this bed frame is a bit of a nightmare. Some steps seem out of order and it is only by pictures. Took me 2 hours to put it together but when it finally was put together my son fell in love with it. Other reviews had damages, mine wasn't damaged and the paint/décor was very well done. Worth the price and seeing my son happy.

FANTASTIC!! Even the screws were colored to match; what attention to detail. It's a 2 person assembly job, but not at all hard. Great instructions. Very sturdy. Slats for mattress foundation-FYI. VERY GOOD TO KNOW: An oversized crib mattress will not fit, so go with the standard, no frills variety or it will be too tight. The only "complaint" is a safety feature - the lid to the storage area doesn't hinge and is heavy- but our tiny 2 yr/old figured it out in a day and takes it off & on with ease, so it's not a problem any more. TIP: Don't tighten the propeller very much or it won't spin enough.

Aesthetically, this bed is adorable. Quality, you get what you pay for--it's a $150 bed. I'm giving it 3 stars due to the painstaking assembly. Some of the pilot holes are completely off, so you'll have to drill on your own. Don't use your power drill for actual drilling though, the faux wood will be eaten alive. Some of my pieces came scratched and dinged. Overall, it probably took me three to four hours to assemble.However, my son completely loves the bed. It fits his old crib mattress perfectly with no gaps. He can get in and out of it easily; the edging at the head ensures he won't roll out. I will be adding hinges to the front storage compartment.I wish there was an option to have it assembled already or much clearer instructions.

This is a great toddler bed. It came well packaged and no items were missing nor damaged. The hardware came with extras just in case something was missing (nothing was) or you lose anything. The assembly was very easy, but quite time consuming). The biggest improve that I would give this is that the instructions are a little vague and could use a tad bit of an improvement. It's nice the the tops of the hardware match the outside design.Thanks!

This is an awesome way to transition a kid into their own bed. Its fun, durable and creative. More beds like this should be made.The price was a bit too high at first but after it was lowered it was well worth it!!The propeller spins and the front of the aircraft has a toy storage department. Assembly took about 4 hours but it flew by as it was coming together.

Our 2 year old loves planes, he loves his bed and we never have a problem about getting into his cool airplane bed. Took a bit of building, but it's well worth it.

Absolutely loved by my 2 year old son! Only took an hour to put it all together and turned up super quick! Overall very happy!

Brilliant look and style. My kid loves it, propellor and storage are a real hit. Made transition from cot to bed so, so easy, he wanted to keep going back to his new bed. Easy enough to assemble. Only one snag, the wooden sides are in some kind of sweet-spot for height, (about pillow-high) so he sometimes bumps his head on the sides. Nothing a kiss better won't solve, and not enough to wake him up, but a bit of padding would have been nice.
