There's nothing like a set of stainless steel mixing bowls to let people know you are a SERIOUS cook. Plastic and melamine definitely have their place in the kitchen. But, stainless steel is absolutely the way to go, if you're a real foodie. I don't like using bowls made of plastic or melamine to mix in. You never know how much of that material is being transferred to the food during the process of mixing, blending, kneading, scraping, etc. And, stainless steel is much more durable. This set by Kaqinu is perfect for my kitchen. The great variety of sizes means I'll always be able to get exactly the size I need. I'm not afraid to go in there with metal utensils like with other bowls. Each bowl has it's own lid, which fits INSIDE the bowl, like a real commercial kitchen mixing bowl, not outside which can cause all kinds of problems. Each bowl also has it's capacity etched into the outside, in imperial measurements (not metric). A nice bonus is the six piece silicone utensil set. Each piece is very important in my kitchen. So, the colorful melamine bowls are great for taking things into the dining room. But, THIS set is for doing the real work, in a real serious kitchen. Good purchase. Five stars.

It’s SOOOOO NICE to have a lid for each bowl. The lids and bowls makes meal and prepping a breeze you and do your cutting work toss the finished product in a bowl with the lid, then into the fridge. The best part stack more bowls on top saving you room. I will probably buy another set.I would recommend. I hope this review was helpful.

When I bought this house, one of the real selling points was the second kitchen. Baking is a passion for my wife and I, and here we are coming into prime baking season. I got these just in time for the start of Thanksgiving baking, and they are getting worked out.They are very sturdy, and have well fitting lids for each. These are perfect in every way.They are light weight, and very sturdy. They run from 1.5 quart, to 7 quarts, and they all have lids. They nest in well for storage too.They clean up quick and easy, and the brushed steel finish looks very nice.The tools that came with are excellent as well. Made with silicone, they are strong and flexible and work really well.I really like the whisk. I’ve never had one that had silicone on the whisk side, and thing that is very cool. It seems to make it a little quieter, and should protect the finish over time.I’m very impressed with everything about this set. I bought it for the second kitchen, but am considering replacing the old ones we have in the primary kitchen too. I’m also considering gifting a set to my daughter as well, because this would be a perfect starter set.

I really like that because they are so much nicer than using containers as a mixing bowl. What an amazing value! We are constantly using mixing bowls and I am always running out or trying to find things to cover the bowls. This set solves that problem. Since lids are included for each bowl size, I dont have to worry about finding something to cover them or stacking them in the fridge. The lids don't actually latch on, but rather sets on top, which is fine by me as I dont actually need them to latch. The bowls are super lightweight and easy to store. I love the added bonus of the silicone utensils. This is such a great value for a lightweight set of covered mixing bowls.

If you prefer your mixing bowls light, look no further. These bowls are very light yet sturdy. There is no extra material on the bottom Of the bowls for grip, and it makes it easier to hold in your arms for extra whisk!Lids are tough and fit perfectly. Makes the bowls airtight for varsity of recipes.Storage is a breeze. They stack up so nicely. Nesting them like that saves so much cabinet space.Cleaning is no problem at all. I washed the bowls in dishwasher (not lids/prefer to hand wash them) before first use, and they come out with no damage. Quality is very good.The added bonus of silicon utensils made my day! They are not some cheap looking plastic utensils. These are really good quality utensils. Very sturdy and heavy duty.Overall happy with my purchase.

We needed to replace a few mixing bowls, so I wanted to go stainless steel with lids.There are 7 different bowls...1.5, 2, 2.5, 3.5, 4, 5.5, and 7 quarts in size. ALL have lids.What's cool is that they can all be stacked (nesting style), which is a huge space saver.The bowls have a shiny mirrored finish that is fingerprint resistant. I definitely wouldn't want something that I'd have to wipe down or polish constantly. The edges are round and smooth so I don't have to worry about hurting myself on them.The lids are made from a translucent and BPA-free material that is flexible.They have so many uses. So far I've used them to mix stuff, store food, shake up to marinade (dry and liquid), and prepare a couple dishes. They wash rather quickly, so I've been using several each day.As a bonus this set includes...basting brush, spreader spatula, flexible spatula, measuring spoons, egg separator, and egg whisk.
