This makeup case is just the right Size! not so huge its awkward, but big enough to hold a ton of makep, skincare, brushes, even a flat iron or curling wand If traveling. The brush organizer area can hold about 3 full face brush sets! The marble design is beautiful, but the material is a little cheap looking in my opinion. The bag us not canvas and it's not leather, it's like a vinyl/faux leather, but kinda cheap looking. Zippers do work well now but nervous for the future as they do not look super sturdy. Overall my daughter was very happy with it as it still is a beautiful place to store all your beauty needs.

I am using this as a briefcase for my kid's school stuff to cart back and forth between parents' homes during this virtual schooling time. My 2nd grader doesn't like using folders...prefers to be able to open a box and sift through papers to find assignments. So, the large "makeup" case serves the purpose of being able to be opened like a box/briefcase, fits all papers, notebooks, textbooks, and even the Chromebook on the front compartment! The pockets can hold markers, pencils, etc. We aren't using any of the inserts for creating smaller compartments at this time, so those are put aside. Cool thing- when the virtual schooling is over, this can be repurposed for something else. The use capabilities are endless- crafts, tools, art supplies, knitting supplies, toy set storage, etc. I haven't used the smaller case yet, but that one will be great for toiletries & make-up. I don't actually use a lot of make-up.

So this bag as a makeup case is probably perfect, but I bought it to hold all of my nail products. Dip powders, drill, polishes, etc and I think I should've went with a larger one. It is a nice quality case, just didn't know how much room I'd need.

Bought it for traveling by car , put everything in this case -fit perfectly in car, very sturdy
