Genuine Honda 08U45-TBA-100 Trunk Tray

I have purchased these Honda trays for two previous vehicles and have been very satisfied with how they're made and hold up with time. When I got this tray in for our 2017 Civic to give as an xmas gift to my wife, I noticed something doesn't look right. The vendor had shipped me the all season floor mats instead. Those mats are well made, seem like they would hold up well, but they really do not do a good job lining and protecting the trunk. Now I am scrambling to get the vendor to ship the correct item to me by xmas so that I have a gift to put under the tree. Hopefully this vendor will overnight the correct part to me.The floor mats would be nice if you lived in an area that receives rain/snow. However, I live in a desert. The only rain we see is on the TV and the only snow we get is when the cable goes out. It could be handy to have all-season floor mats if you live where there is weather, but these are not what I truly needed.When I contacted the seller about the mistake, they sent me a shipping label to return those floor mats and sent me the tray. This tray did come rolled up into an 8"X8"X40" box so the tray did have tight curls and a few kinks in it. The curl actually helps position the tray in the trunk. I laid it out flat in the trunk and put a few heavy items on it to hold it down while it uncurled. It is already pretty flat this morning. A good, warm sunny day and the heat in the trunk will flatten it completely.This cargo tray is made out of the same tough plastic as the other ones I have had. I am confident it will hold up well and protect the carpet from stains and spills.Update - the tray is very easy to clean if you spill anything in your trunk. The only complaint I have is that anything put in the trunk can slide around on it and not stay where you set it.

Let me start off by saying that this does NOT fit a 2018 Honda Civic Si coupe. Or any other coupe in fact. But luckily it does fit a 2012 Honda Civic LX sedan very snug. When I opened up the package, the tray was rolled up like the other reviewers have commented on. It has a plastic feel and not rubber. The gray Civic LX in the photo is a sedan and the tray fits perfectly. The black Civic Si is a coupe and you can see the tray is too big. I found out if you want the coupe trunk tray, the part# is 08U45-TBG-100

My trunk tray just arrived a while ago and is now residing in the trunk of my 2017 Civic. Fits like a glove, too. It was shipped in a 12"x12"x49" box which allowed it to be shipped rolled loosely. There were a few wavy areas along the edges from being rolled but were no creases at all. It's amazing how much you can save if it wasn't dealer installed. They offer the trunk mat, splash guards, and wheel locks as a package for approximately $400! My Touring model did have wheel locks (free) but no mat or splash guards. By buying those two items from Amazon, I saved about $275-300! Ironically, my wife bought a Civic EX-L six months ago but these add on accessories were included at no extra cost, so go figure! My advice to others: If these things are installed and the dealer wants extra money for them, tell them to uninstall them. Then, simply order the aftermarket versions, from Amazon, and install them yourself. The splash guards take only about 30 minutes to install and simply screw on with the included hardware. But, getting back to the trunk tray, get one! It will keep your trunk looking factory fresh and is easily removable for cleaning with a hose or whatever else you need to do to remove spills, dirt, etc.

These trunk trays are great! They keep storage area carpeting clean and the trays are easy to clean by just removing them and hosing them off. I have put these in five (5) Hondas so far (two Elements, one Accord, one CRV and now one Civic) and I am a firm believer in having these in the cars.The one for the Civic that I just bought is of similar quality as the other trays I have purchased in the past. The tray does come rolled-up, but quickly becomes flat and fits perfectly in the trunk area. As an alternative, you can leave it out in the sun for a few hours to let it unroll, but I found the Civic tray to fit / form to the trunk area immediately. I do not understand what other buyers' concerns are with getting the tray rolled up in a box... One final comment, the delivery was super fast... I received the tray within 48 hours and it is NOT an Amazon Prime item! It was great!

Bought it for wife's touring. Thought it would be rubber at least, for the price, but I paid that much for a piece of plastic. It does its job, it fits perfect, liked how it had "civic" on it, but it came rolled up, which I rather it would have come flat. Like one reviewer, i hope it doesn't crack over time because of the creases it created from being rolled up. Like another reviewer, glad it was the edges and not the middle that creased up. It does look nice. Would I buy it again? Possibly.UPDATE: 4/2017Still in very good shape. The creases around the edges went away in a couple of days after placing it in the trunk. Definitely a great items added for protection. Changed from 4 to 5 stars

The trunk mat arrived damaged due to it being folded to fit in a long skinny box as opposed to a wide flat one. It now sits warped in my trunk and won't sit flat.update: I am giving back 2 stars to this trunk mat. I used a heat gun to fix the bends and some put some weights down to help it sit flat. After having it now for almost a year, it looks like normal and is a very good quality & durable mat. I hesitate to give it a full 5 stars simply due to packaging.

Fits as expected. Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't shipped all rolled up in a tube. I had to let it sit in the living room for the whole weekend before it would lay flat. Once in the trunk, the car sat in the hot summer sun and warmed up and the corners seemed to get their shape back. A small hassle to save a lot of bucks.
