This item was a blessing for our household. We have a family member who currently has trouble standing and moving to the toilet. The older set that we had were so wobbly that the use of them was causing falls.This toilet grab frame is extremely stable. It should work for someone with a minor or major need.

I found this very easy to install. It is for use at my parent's home but I installed it because they can't get up and down from the floor.Just make sure you check that you have the left and right arms correct before you attach everything. Feels sturdier than the basic one we had before, without the front support cross bar. Unlike most it does not have a easy to remove push button if you need to remove the frame quickly. That is only a problem if you have a commode chair that needs to sit over the stool quickly.

Ordered for my wife after a stroke and hospital stay. After trying one unit, we ordered another for a second bathroom. They are sturdy and work well for support. The front crossbar that runs from side to side adds a lot of stability and we found that the unit has very little wobble when using it for support It's easy to put together and the only tool needed would be a screwdriver to help remove the bolts that attach the toilet seat to the toilet. There is a left and a right to the pieces with the armrests and they have to be attached so that the pre-drilled holes for the front attachment screw face out rather than in. The width between the two pieces with armrests can be adjusted using 3 possible settings. The suction cups are wide but really add nothing since they did not attach to either the tile floor in one bathroom or the laminate floor in the other. Nevertheless, the units meet our needs and we don't regret purchasing them.

My dad fell trying to stand up off the toilet. I looked at numerous toilet accessory aids help them remain independent. After seeing the unstable crappy options available I bought this toilet frame. It was a few extra buck but, well worth the money. It is secure well made, easy to install and works. Has help my parents feel more secure and stable. I parents case it actually gives them a grab bar to get in / put of shower.

Easy to assemble, good instructions. Our problem in installing happened because the tank was slightly rounded out instead of in as in the photos. We had to drill the holes to accommodate that in the piece that attaches to the base of the toilet. Once that was done, it was easy to install and adjust for my elderly mother. It is very secure and sturdy.

I looked at many similar products, their descriptions and then the reviews. I finally settled on Vive because they included a video for the installation, and a majority of the reviews claimed it was stable and adjustable. It took me 15 minutes to install after watching the video. The arms do not jiggle and really hold up to weight. I am pleased with this product and will be a returning customer if I need additional help for my senior Dad.There are 1-star reviews that claim this safety rail fell apart. It may if installed incorrectly. Watch the video and make sure all fasteners are tight. My 200lb senior dad will not use a bathroom if it does not have these toilet safety rails.

I bought this for an elderly relative. It was fairly easy to assemble, and due to the front cross supports, I think this product is likely sturdier than most models that do not have this support. The suction cups work well on a completely flat linoleum or laminate surface, but would not work as well on a grouted tile floor that was not completely flat. Initially the relative did not want it and said they didn't need it, but I installed it anyway, and after a week or two of use they begrudgingly admitted that it was helpful.
