Q: What is meant by "synthetic organic"?

It's indigo dye powder that has gone through a reduction process to make it water soluble. Indigo is not naturally water soluble. You can reduce indigo powder yourself but it is a lengthy process. This lets you skip that step as the company does it for you.

Q: What are the ingredients made of?

It’s a synthetic copy of the indigo molecule formulated from fossil fuels in a laboratory. Some plants also contain the indigo molecule which is why many get confused and say it’s plant based. Traditionally indigo was plant based, now most is synthetic and sourced from fossil fuels.
