Helpful for reducing paw licking, but I can’t say whether it treats an underlying condition
I bought the Smiling Paws Pet Advance Corgi Skin Spray because my dog had been licking his paws quite a bit, and I wanted something simple that I could try at home. So far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it has worked for us. The biggest thing I noticed is that my dog stopped licking his paws as much after using the spray. That was the main reason I purchased it, so seeing a noticeable change was definitely a positive. It’s easy to apply, and I appreciate that I don’t have to deal with a complicated routine or anything difficult to put on my dog. I also like that it’s convenient to keep around and use when I notice my dog starting to bother his paws. My dog tolerated it well, which is important because some products can be difficult to use when your dog immediately tries to lick everything off. That being said, I want to be realistic about what I can actually say based on my experience. I know that it helped reduce the licking, but I don't know whether it actually treats an underlying disease, infection, allergy, or other medical condition. I wouldn't want to make that claim based only on my dog's experience. If a dog has persistent paw irritation or other symptoms, I think it would still be important to have the underlying cause checked by a veterinarian. For us, though, the most noticeable benefit was the reduction in paw licking, and that's enough for me to consider the product useful. It seems like a good product to have available when my dog's paws need some extra attention. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. It was easy to use, my dog tolerated it well, and most importantly, I noticed a real difference in his paw-licking behavior. I'd definitely consider purchasing it again.

Recommend for Dogs!
My dog had what looked like ring worm. The stuff is pink, but it really does not stain, and he does not like the spray feeling. So I sprayed it on his sore and did it twice a day and in about four days it was gone. Also had an ear thing going on and same thing, applied it to a paper towel first then wiped. It cleared up in about a week. I'm am very glad we bought this. From what I can see the active ingredient is good for lots of stuff from bacteria to yeast. I want to care for my dog, but don't like wasting money on unnecessary vet bills. So now, we apply this for at least three days, if no improvement, I'll go to the vet. But so far, this stuff is clearing up all our small issues.

Worked as advertised
My dog had licked himself raw in the groin area. This product reduced the irritation and redness and the area is now back to normal.

Great antibiotic/antifungal spray!
This stuff works great! My cat ripped off a back claw and the nail bed puffed up and I procrastinated with finding a vet., so bought this in the meantime. The mix of chlorhexidine (antibacterial) + antifungal is great (since most cats have Frito-smelling feet- a sign of kitty athlete's foot). I also love that it's a spray since then I can splash some on his foot real quick. Most vet. treatments seemed to entail either a foot soak or ointment application, which would never work on my squirmer. The first day I got this I soaked a cat sock with the treatment and put on a cone and came back from work with both things off and nowhere to be found! But paw got better even though I only got in a couple sprays a week. He didn't like his paw getting wet, but I think the spray was able to get between his toesies. Good product and price!

Spray comes with cautions about ingesting or licking product.
i love this company and its products. We live in an area where allergens are high for both pets and humans. All our Westies come down with pyoderma every year resulting in pus-filled sores and constant scratching and lasts all summer. The shampoo gives them relief and pinks up the skin. However, the spray comes with cautions including not letting the dog inhale the spray or lick it. HOW are pet owners supposed to do that? It means that after I use it, I need to slap the "cone-of-shame" on my dogs. Also, breathing it may not be good for humans either. The scent is still wafting in my room. Next time, I will dab it on with a swab. I'm not sure if I would buy the spray version of this product again.

Worked on kitten with bald spot
I don’t write reviews often but our cat started a strange bald spot (it wasn’t inflamed or being scratched and I’ve had cats all my life but never seen this). It was increasing in size (but not ringworm) and using this in combo with a powder supplement on his food (that had l-lysine and other nutrients) cleared it up. Very relieved to avoid a vet saga.

Easy and effective
Spray makes it easy to apply. Didn’t sting and has very nice scent. Itching seemed to stop overnight.
