Giro Bishop XL Cycling Helmet,Black/Charcoal

I have an enormous head (62cm/ 24.5" circumference), and am an avid cyclist. For probably 30 years of my life I've thought cycling helmets are just uncomfortable things, until now. I barely even feel the thing on my head; fit's great and can even be adjusted a little bigger than my head. Ventilation is also great - I have think hair and sweat a lot (I live in New England and can not even wear a hat in the winter, just to illustrate), and the heat did not bother me with this one. I am one happy camper (and wish I had thought about this a few years sooner)

Went down hard the second time I wore it and it saved my head. I will order a new one as soon as my broken ribs heal and I'm ready to start riding again.

I have a fat head and it was always hard to find a bike helmet that fit. Several years ago Giro had an XL model that fit "like butter" and was I extremely disheartened when it was stolen. I couldn't exactly recall the model name that I got, but this one looked very much like it so I bought it. While it still fits, this model is a little tighter on the sides. Overall, I am happy that it fits, but disappointed that it doesn't fit "like butter".

I have a large head and caps and helmets for normal people isn't an option. A forum for people with large heads gave a few brands that fit large heads and this was one on that list. It fit perfect with a little room to spare. I have a size 8 hat head. I measured it to be 25.25 inch circumference (64.135 cm for my people every else in the world). It have some room to spare.

If you have a giant head and nothing else will fit, this will probably fit and you will probably like it. The straps actually juuuuust barely fit my enormous head, but they fit. Rode for a couple of hours the day after it arrived and found the comfort and ventilation to be excellent. There's not much more to say - it works. It sort of has the "mushroom cap" look when it's on my head, but that's more a function of having a watermelon for a head than a flaw in the design of the helmet itself.

Finally a helmet to fit my kiddos large head! Looks to be well built. My kids have large heads and it's been a pain to find a helmet that fits them properly. If you are looking for a large helmet, this one is it. They even have room to grow so it should last them a while.

Although a bit large out of the box, this helmet is almost perfect. The dial adjustment snugged the helmet right up, and the chin strap seems comfortable and also was easy to adjust. It seems to be well constructed with quality materials and allows for good air flow. I purchased the matte black finish and like both the color and overall look. Very happy with my purchase.

Great fit and comfortable. I've got a large head (wear a size 8 fitted baseball cap) and this things fits just fine. The straps are long enough to go around my big noggin and still have some room to spare. It's light and you don't feel it while riding around and the vents running thru it keep you from too much sweating (though I mean, if you're riding along and working out, you'll sweat no matter what helmet you're wearing).
