This is the fourth type of litter scooper I've tried, and it's the last. Stop wasting time and just order this one. Here's what I've been thru: 1. Plastic scoops of varying thickness. They snap often. Garbage. 2. A metal scoop, but it was only solid on the top of the handle, the back of the handle was just flat open space. If you had multiple cat boxes, this killed your hand. Then, it wanted to snap where the handle was "welded" to the scoop. In the trash.3. Found a metal one with a rubber handle. Cool. Until the handle snapped where it ended, because the metal handle didn't go all the way thru the rubber coating, more like halfway, like 3-4 inches in. Half metal, half rubber, so if course it eventually snapped at the meeting point. Useless. 4. Then I bought THIS Leviathan. Big scoop. All one solid piece of metal, no welds, no joints. The handle is long, and rubber coated all the way. It has nubs for your fingers to fit in the grip. The end is not sharp, like others I've had. However, the torque you get, the sheer power, more than makes up for this. This thing made quick and easy work of 4 litter boxes in record time, and I wasn't even annoyed after I finished like I usually am. This is a heavy duty scooper, and I couldn't help but notice it's the only one somebody stood behind enough to put a brand name behind it. The only con I could remark on, is the thick rubber coating on the handle tends to spin a little as you work, but I learned to roll with that and it doesn't bother me even enough to take off any stars. Wish I'd bought this years ago.

I never thought using a metal cat litter scoop would make such a difference. It doesn’t flex and it picks of and shifts litter so much easier than the plastic scoop that I was using, I wish I had start using this a long time ago, it is amazing!

I am still using the pooper scooper after a few years. It has held up well and is still doing the job. It is strong, so be careful on those cheapo lite plastic kitty litter boxes or you will damage the litter boxes. But it gets into corners well and does a good job. How I clean it is I have a small bucket outside that I put water in with some lysol and drop it in. The next day I get it out and spray it down with the hose. Yes, the metal does discolor and it is ugly. But it is not made to win beauty pageants. It is a star for hat it is supposed to do.

High quality pooper scooper. Best to purchase with the caddy since it is so big, it won’t fit into the standard ones say for instance on the Litter Genie.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've spent years using a plastic litter scoop. I finally switched to this one, and it makes scooping so much easier. Sturdy, comfortable to hold, easy to clean

Very nice scooper that replaced my 8 year old smaller plastic one, metal is definitely an upgrade as well as the size. I am only disappointed about the 'random color' only selection. 1 chance out of 3 and I got the color I def didn't want, haha.

It seems like such a no-brainer.For years I've used plastic litter scoops, and they seem to make them out of brittle plastic, so that the second time you use one it cracks somewhere and then you spend the next half-decade gingerly trying to avoid worsening the crack, knowing that if you replaced it the replacement would suffer the same fate.And then I found a recommendation for this scoop in a Reddit discussion, and I couldn't agree more. This is a good, durable, easy to use scoop. The holes/slats are a bit larger than I'm used to, but quite effective in sifting out what needs sifting out.

Folks, I just saw the biggest kitty litter scooper, HUGE, believe me, nobody’s ever seen one like this, maybe the biggest ever made, some say it could scoop up entire states. It’s tremendous for cleaning; nobody cleans like me, ask anyone, they say, ‘Sir, how do you scoop so efficiently?’ well it’s because I pick the best tools, the best! If Sleepy Joe had a scooper like this, maybe he could have cleaned up his mess... but he doesn’t, he uses a tiny, pathetic one, very sad!
