I bought this because I had just replaced the shower curtain and liner and the old rod just wasn't working well. Might as well get it all. I am so glad I did. This is far superior to the tension rod I bought at Target. It is very sturdy, bigger, and has instructions on how to properly install it.You fit it between the walls of the shower, then remove it and extend the end by one inch. Then pull it back and fit it into the shower. Then turn that end clockwise. It's a perfect, tight fit every time. If you don't get it right the first time, simply start over. It has a sticker on the end to show you, and the directions that come with it are very easy to understand.It's very attractive and solid looking. Now I don't have to worry about the curtain rod falling down any more. It looks nice with the new curtain and liner, too. I highly recommend it.Update: February 18. 2016I bought this in October and I'm sad to say it has started to rust. I chose it because I believed it wouldn't rust and because I liked that it stays put once you install it. It still works great, but even though we have a well ventilated bathroom with an exhaust fan and a window, this still rusted. Very disappointed.UPDATE: April 23, 2016I had to buy another one because after cleaning up the first one, the rust started creeping back. I bought a second one because I really love how it stays in place, even when my children occasionally give a tug on the shower curtain as they get in and out of the tub. There's nothing on the market to beat it. I just wish they would be up front and mention that it is not rust proof.

We live in a three-story open loft, and needed a curtain to separate my daughter's "bedroom" (more of an open area) so that she could have some privacy. She is now 7, and privacy has become quite important to her. At first I purchased the Ikea wire curtain system, but I did not want to drill into masonry, etc., to hang the privacy curtains (curtains are also Ikea - very high quality, very thick, Scotch-guard them and they are very easy to maintain). Was thinking perhaps an XL shower curtain rod would work, and this completely fits the bill. Because the space is so wide, and the curtain rod is so stylish, it does not look like I have hung a shower curtain. It simply looks like any other curtain rod, yet is much stronger than the usual bathroom curtain rods - the tension is really strong and the rod itself is very sturdy and heavy duty (though still light enough to work). The opening to her room is 73", this rod is the perfect size. Easy to install - I did it by myself on a stool, Just make sure you follow the directions or you will be quite confused! The color matches the grommets on the Ikea curtains perfectly, and the whole setup is flawless. Very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend. Please note that the photos show the curtains BEFORE I steamed them to remove the wrinkles!

Awesome because finding a tension rod at this length is not an easy taskStrong because this rod can handle a lot of weightBeautiful because even after a year the finish remains intactAnd smart because without the instructions it had me baffledI did not read the instructions, as simple as it may seem to some I couldn't get the knack of it and I was at my wits end. I am super happy with this product, I have had it for more than a year and there has been no rust whatsoever.In case, like me, you also throughout the instructions, here you go:Measure the width of the space where the tension rod will hung.Select the appropriate length of spring tension rod for this measurement.If your measurement is close to or the same length as the largest measurement for the rod, select the next larger size rod.Hold one end of the rod while you turn the other end clockwise. This will unscrew the rod and extend the length.Extend the rod at least 1 inch longer than the width of the window.Thread the curtain through the rod and place one end against the window frame.Apply pressure on the other end to collapse the rod until it fits inside the window frame.Use a level to ensure that the rod is straight.Voila

re review now with the roller clip on vs the steel J hooks its less noisy and looks great but if you look closely at pic 3 you can already see after 2 days that 3 showers so far so moving the hooks back and forth maybe 6 to 8 time total it is all scratched and real stainless does not scratch like this !!!! from a distance it is a big improvement than the ugly white 1 I had previouslyThank You to the 3 companies that made this come together , still waiting on my white cotton with brown tree outer curtain .So here is 1 more star because now I do like it du to the screeching going away from regular J hooksNOT LIKE TRADITIONAL SHOWER RODS!!!!! Unlike the average of just twisting until tight with this rod you extended it 1" past the point of where it should go in . ? huh I asked myself when I read that . Ok so it slides out and in at 1rst . so slide it out as far as you can get it on your wall or a little father then wedge it in . once at desired height and location then you twist to lock it into place .So the easy way , slide it out against the wall then tighten it up to where it almost locks but you can still pull or extended it then go about .3 " and wedge it in and within 2 full twists your done (Minus some paint off the walls )It does look great but with the stainless hooks I have now (I already ordered new ones not J hooks but clip on's with 3 roller balls on each )they screech horribly !!! so don't go stainless on stainless unless you have some rollers , If I had a picture it would help a lot but they sell on hereso pros : Looks great and is sturdyCons: screechy , pain to get up with new design , and scratches very easily doubt very highly it stainless all the way thru .

Cette barre est tout simplement un indispensable ! J’ai trouvé une utilisation géniale en la plaçant au-dessus de la porte de mes WC pour y accrocher un rideau et préserver mon intimité. Juste un peu de calcaire et de poussière (comme on peut le voir sur les photos). 💧👌Pour des projections d’eau minimales, placez-la bien au-dessus de la douche. 🚿🌬️Niveau prix, pour cette qualité c’est totalement acceptable. Deze douchegordijnrail heeft niet alleen een luxe uitstraling maar kan heel wat gewicht dragen. Je klemt 'm zonder boren in een handomdraai tussen de wanden. Ook betegelde wanden vormen geen probleem voor deze douchegordijnrail.
