I purchased this battery for my 2011 MacBook Pro. It took a long time to charge the first day - but then it seemed to work. However, after about six weeks, it suddenly died completely. Laptop wouldn't turn on - battery was completely dead.And returning it wasn't easy, even though there's a 12-month warranty. .... When I contacted Amazon, they told me to contact the seller. But the seller said it was fulfilled by Amazon - and so I needed to contact Amazon. So, I called Amazon again and they agreed to issue me a refund....... But the next day, the refund notice showed the refund had deducted a $10 "restocking fee." How do you re-stock a dead battery??? (Maybe that's how I got the faulty battery the first time. Someone else had returned it? Not sure). So, I had to call Amazon back a third time - to get the restocking fee refunded. ...So, terrible product - battery dies within six weeks. And difficult process to get a refund. Not recommended. Buyer beware.

This is the second battery I have installed on my computer. The last one, not this brand, only gave me about an hour of computer use. SO the search went on to find a battery that would last a couple of hours. To this point, I have gotten over a hour use each time. I am not worry about the computer dying on me while doing work. Battery use time is very important to me. Was willing to drop a little more for that very purpose. Check back in a year and we will see if it is still holding up to the performance. Again it is not easy to find a decent battery for your computer delivery the performance you are hoping for.

Arrived quickly. Was easy to install. It doesn’t hold a charge for very long but I guess that is to be expected. So let’s just say it’s better than the battery that I replaced which was also a replacement battery from two years ago. It’s a fix for now...I probably need to replace my computer altogether. :-/ I would recommend this as a replacement battery but it’s only a bandaid fix.

The MacBook Pro from mid 2012 is one of the best laptops ever made. Changing the battery for $40 fixed the trackpad issues I was having. Over time the old battery starts to bulge, and makes the trackpad inoperable.

Got it faster than expected and was pretty straight forward to install!

I installed this in my wife’s MacBook a few weeks ago, and so far everything is going swimmingly. Installation was pretty simple with the included screwdrivers - it’s not a complicated job, and you don’t need any special expertise - and since installation she’s been getting maybe 3 hours of use out of the laptop between charges. I’ve never used a MacBook so I’ve no idea how this stands up against the original battery, but it’s a big upgrade on the 45 minutes she was getting from the old battery, so I’m pretty satisfied.We’ve replaced the battery once before using something I found on eBay, and the old one felt like poor quality fresh out of the box. This one felt a little more solidly built, though I’ve no idea of the quality of the internal parts.

I have a MacBook Pro 13" Early 2011 that is still very usable, but the original battery had swollen to the point where the trackpad couldn't click. It also wasn't holding a charge for very long.This battery fit in perfectly and was easy to install using the provided tools. A nice bonus is that the tools are magnetic making it so much easier to deal with the tiny screws.The best part is that the battery is lasting longer than I expected to get out of its especially for basic, low-power tasks (like web browsing). I've only used it for 2 cycles at this point, so we'll see how long it lasts, but we're off to a good start. It can be difficult to find a good long-lasting, replacement battery but this appears to be a good one.

First off, for a battery for a mid-2011 MacBook Pro this was super easy to install. Once you take off the 10 screws from the bottom, there are only 2 screws holding the battery in place and the connector to the computer (super awesome that it actually came with the tools for the install!). Super easy to replace but also had a YouTube video walking me through in case I missed something. Currently running “CoconutBattery” program (free!) to run battery diagnostics and it runs perfectly. My previous old battery swelled up a bit so I had to press firmly on the touchpad but with this replacement it’s back to normal easy use. Will definitely buy this product again in a couple months to have a spare in case something happens to this one. Great company, fast shipping. Will find one to fit my wife’s 2016 MacBook Air in a few weeks as well. Worth every penny, had this for 2 weeks running and runs like a new computer. Back to fast speeds as well since Mac is know to lower your ram and speeds when your battery starts running low. Hope this review helps, I’m beyond ecstatic that my computer runs so much better now, and I know this makes me sound too giddy but nice that my trackpad is back to normal!!!! Worth the price as well since I got quoted from other business from $150-170 for replacement and labor. Bought this battery for $75 and replaced it in under 10 minutes while watching the 3 minute YouTube video. Worth it, saved $100 easy!

Ich war zuerst etwas skeptisch, da alle 5-Sterne-Bewertungen Vine-Bewertungen waren (also Rzensionen aufgrund cvon kostenlos zugesandten Produkten)Der Akku kan am nächsten Tag, war gut eingepackt:Pappkarton mit Schaumstoff aus gelegt, Akku in einem Anti-Statik-Beutel. Einfaches Werkzeug ist beigelegt, das für den Austausch völlig ausreicht. Der Austausch war nach 10 Mnuten erledigt.Die Überraschng kam beim Hochfahren des Rechners.Statt der schon gegenüber dem Original-Akku höheren Kapazität von 6800 mAH wurden mir 7064 mAH angezeigt. Das ist auch nach inzwischen 11 Ladezyklen so (siehe Bidschirmfoto)Ich hoffe, das bleibt auch in Zukunft so, schließlich steht auf der Verpackung "in Herstellerqualität" ;-)Fazit: Guter Akku zu einem sehr guten Preis

I love this battery, was really easy to install with a youtube tutorial. I purshased the tools on side and it worked perfectly. I can use my macbook for apprxmly 5hours without recharging.
